For the money i'd say Turf Tamers are hands down the best value. MXR4s are suppose to hook up great but ive heard different opinions. Right now i run Titan fast trekers and they hook up awesome and corner very well. I'd stay away from maxxis tires from my experience they are fairly heavy.

If you wanna go cheap just get some YFZ front shocks, +2+1 a-arms and a -2 swinger with a stock rear shock revalved. Also get a wider axle and a good set of tires. I recomend the Holeshot MXR4 rears in 19 inch and MXR fronts in 20 inch size. Mine has this set up except i have fast treker rears which are also great, and the thing handles like its on rails and jumps nice and smooth. I wouldnt blow money on elkas unless i was planning on hitting huge jumps or if i had money to blow on them.

I've got a Grey and Blue 98 w/ black TRC a-arms, YFZ shocks, ac grab bar and nerfs, and a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe. There is a race there next week also but i'm not going due to the fact taht i cant afford it, but i will be at Motomasters next weekend. I will post pictures of the a-arms after i pick the banshee up from my buddies house and wash it.

Well this weekend me and my buddy raced up at Broome Tioga around the Binghampton area. First moto i tried starting in second but wasnt paying attention so i didnt get on the gas soon enough to take off but my banshee was so fast that i caught up real fast anyways. I passed a ton of people off the first corner. They had a real nice mogul section that i was passing a lot of people through also. I was doing real good going along in 2nd for a while then my brake caliper came off!@!! So that ended my first moto in a flash. ON top of that before that happened my goggles were coming loose so i couldnt see. 2nd moto was a lot better, i rocketed out of the hole and quickly got into 3rd place until the 3rd turn where my buddy was in front of me but was going too slow so i hit him and got sent into the corner. This bumped me up to 5th or 6th or so. I was racing with a guy on a Yfz for a few laps till i passed him over a double. Then i battled a 400ex for 4th till the last lap where i passed him thruogh the whoops. I held postion real well and almost got 3rd but then the race was over. My buddy on a YFZ got 2nd and 3rd overall. I forget who won it though. I had just put on a set of YFZ shocks also and a custom set of +2+1 chromoly a-arms built by Tigor Racing Components. And all i can say is WOW that thing handled like it was on rails. If i had better lcuk that day i could have easily trophied. Ill post pics if i get a hold of any. If anyone in NY races they ought to try this track it is very nice and smooth and has big jumps, so far its my favorite track. Very fun.

Get it its definitely worth it. Its the best way to make your clutch pull easier because a lot of the resistance in your clutch is from dirt in the cable which this helps blast all that shit out.

Ok i found this in my email today and i thought it would be a good idea to post it here. Buying Gasoline WHERE TO BUY YOUR GAS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON-- Why didn't George W. think of this? Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even be good for us! The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor. An interesting thought it to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil : Shell.............................. 205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway.... 117,740,000 barrels Amoco.............................62,231,000 barrels If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil: Citgo.......................0 barrels Sunoco...................0 barrels Conoco...................0 barrels Sinclair....................0 barrels BP/Phillips...............0 barrels Hess........................0 barrels ARC0......................0 barrels All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. It's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) ... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers! If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it ..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!! Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next eight days! -

I watched that today and i was glad too see that all the leaders were riding 2 strokes

My buddy has a pred and he beat me a few times, its pretty much all about hitting your gears right. I couldnt get the ol shee out of 3rd sometimes and thats when he would pass me. Its all about shifting with the shee.

PBR is pretty good stuff All in all i love beer!!!!
-
i prefer Yeuinling Lager and Black and Tan. i picked budweiser from the list though. PBR would be my 3rd choice.

I'm not sure if this is as good as the honda throttle, but i have a single 35 mm PWK. I had problems with just the one carb being hard to pull, what i did was take the spring out of the throttle assembly and cleaned the cable out with my cable tool and some cable wax. It ended up pulling a lot easier, not sure where my fishing scale is but if i can get a hold of one i will see how well that worked.

I was actually wondering the same thing, i have pretty much a fresh top end and it takes me 5 kicks to get er going even though my plugs are a nice milk chocolate color.
-
How about you test it out and let us know how it is. I have no experience with it, i have an old school fox chest protector from the 80s, that my uncle gave to me lol. I think thats what your talking about right ?

T-cats are awesome!!! You ought to grass drag the sucker. 140 mph i've never even been in a car that does that, shit a lot of motorcycles wont do that.

Suspension adjusment is very important. If you are riding on a track with tight whoops then you will probably have to ride over them. You will want your rebound pretty fast for this (allows your swingarm to go back down fast.) This way your tires go back down, so that when you hit the next bump you will have some suspension travel so you dont go flying. It also helps to ride way back on the seat. An other strategy is to try finding a way around them, some tracks are fairly wide and you can work your way around the whooops which will allow you to go a lot faster.

It's all about cash is what i hear. Its the reason companies arent pushing the hybrid cars as much, and why ethonal isnt being mass produced yet. Because big business is making big bucks which makes the republicans happy. Just think though, wouldnt it be great if hybrids were in higher production. That would lower demand a lot and gas would be cheaper. Then if Ethenol was mass produced it would lower it even more but it would not only benefit gas consumers like us but also farmers who could benefit from higher demand in corn. Just thinking a little bit correct me if my logic is wrong.

What the heck are cub cylinders?

From my experience the best tire i have used would have to be Titan turf tamers. Second to them would have to be the fast trekkers. Both handle nice and both hook up awesome. Holesshots are also good tires but they are expensive.
-
Whoa stay away from razrs. They may be cheap but they are heavy as hell especially 6 ply. You should save up for some aftermarket suspension though. And get some aluminum rims to lighten er up a little. You can also go through it and grind a bunch of mounting tabs off of it for the stock pipes and other crap.
-
When you come out of the corner give it a little bit of clutch floor it and let go of the clutch. You also should get some 18 inch tires and a 13 or 14 tooth front sprocket.
