  8. Looking for the chrome lights that mount in the stock location like the Trail Tech ones. I know there is at least one other Co. that makes them.
  9. Well, if you haven't already got them out, I just did exactly what you are trying to do!!. Try using a very small ice pick and pick the end of it until it moves, then try to pry another pic or a very very small presision flat-head in there and move it up and out. One end came out in <5 mins and the other was like 15...It should work. Spray some WD40 in there to get it loose..Good Luck

  18. Rail, what gearing are you running? I run 18" Tamers thats why I was thinking I will have to lower my gearing for the 20's. I run 17/40 with 18" Tamers.
  19. Yea, I think thats about what I am going to do...Plus it will give me a little more clearance. I might throw on the 16 since I think the 17 will be too tall with the 20" paddles and their extra traction. Also, according to the gearing calc, the 17 will put me at over 90MPH!! I don't think I would be able to pull that in sand with my mods! I also did some looking around and I think I might try the Kings Trubo Paddles...20x11x8 8 Paddles...Or try the Sand Stars. I will use the TT's everywhere else. Thanks
  20. Yea, the Sand Stars or Haulers would be fine...There are some dirt trails, but the big sand pit is all flat and sand..Unfortunately I dont get to climb any big hills yet I was thinking of going to the 16 anyway, but have to remove another link (Actually 2) to the chain to make that work, thats why I still have the 17 What about an 18" paddle? Any advantages or disadvantages with my gearing......
  21. Ok, I have had turf tamers on the bike since I bought it. Recently I have been riding at places that are mostly sand and the Turf's are spinning WAY TOO much... My concern is gearing and tire selection: I ran last week at this place here in FL that had pretty smooth wide open sand pit area. I was able to go WOT pinned in all gears, up to 6th for a good 3-5 seconds. The prob is that I felt that I needed another gear since it was about at redline but not pulling any more? I know its mostly because the truf tamers were prob spinning like crap. So I want to get a good set of rear paddles, but just something decent thats going to hook up good and not cost too much. However, right now I am running a higher gearing (17/40) but with smaller 18" tires! So I was thinking since most paddles are 20-22" my 17 sproket might be too tall with those tires? I have a cool head, 18cc domes, some home made porting, SST's, PCII's K&N no airbox lid, and jetting are the main engine mods. Would I be able to just get the 20" paddles and leave the high gearing alone, or should I get 18" paddles, or lower the gearing to 16/40 and get 20's? From last weeks riding, I would think that I could go bigger on the gearing\tires since I was WOT in 6th....Or maybe thats because it was spinning and NOT hooking up like the paddles would
  22. Unless you have a good amount of adv timing I would say you should be ok for now. Adv timing is what causes you to really need your crank welded, and maybe very high comp also. I would say your ok until you decide to upgrade it... although you already have some of it taken apart, so its up to you
  23. I would be very interested in what the answer is here as I am about to contact TCS and possibly order some shocks too. I have heard great things about TCS from those who have used them so I am thinking of trying them also. I called Todd Wed AM and left a mssg to call me back to go over a few questions I have. I never heard from him? Not sure if they were too busy or what, but I will try again.
  24. jsyi, great info man. I think that is everything I ever wanted to know about Heim joints .... I think I am going to look into them some more before deciding....However if I do get them it would def be from QS....
