If you go into porting deep enough to start removing the sleeve your gonna need a hone to clean up the bore. You dont need to snag a ring now I also did use a dremel, just take your time.

Depends on what you do really. Tight trails/tight mx track 2-1 is the way to go, smoother hit dont have to hold on as much. wide open trails etc stick with the fmf. I have my 2-1 sitting to the side, come the county fair it will go back on and the rockets will come off. I adore my 2-1 pipe with my 2-1 carb contrary to what the dealership guys say.

take the pilot out than try the local yamaha dealer you can get them for around $3. they can also be bought in sets. A wet plug is an indicator of a rich condition or a fouled plug, one, the other or both. Pop in the new pilot and some new plugs then let us know where you are at.

65 is rich as hell for the pilot. I run a 404 big bore 19cc coolhead(which doesn't affect jetting), rockets, vforce delta 2's, mild port, the trinity single carb setup with a 35mm pwk and my pilots a 52 starts first kick with the choke and idles almost immediatly with the choke off. You should be down around a 45.

Ok it routes up and back down below your right handle bar on the frame. It is an overflow, and theres a little clamp that holds it and what I think is the coolant overflow.

Go up on the pilot and main. If it runs right with the choke on than it means you engine needs more fuel when the choke is off. Pulling the choke out infuses more fuel into the engine. Revving way too high is lean. Try going up on the pilots and report back. one maybe two sizes should do.

Yeah zinc and hydrochloric acid will produce some hydrogen gas. Theres zinc under the thinner than paper cover of copper on a penny.
