  1. I have the same fireplace, if you figure out how to get the damn front off the clean the blowers let me know. Mine need it bad.
  2. I second daves question, mine said 18 on the package but had 19 stamped on the domes.
  3. They wont burn your legs. If your fenders aren't race cut you will have to trim out an area for them. Like I have said in other forums, I ride in trails and if I dont burn my legs off doing that then I doubt you'll have any problems.
  4. T-Shirts for sure and may take a second picture/logo for the stickers. Preferrably no human females, as that can cause a big liability if its your girlfriend and she breaks up with you and sues me type shit.
  5. I second the trail turning. Puts the power to the ground right now. doing trails/mx do it you wont regret it. Duning and extra high HP motors eh longer may be better. For reference I run a 404cc motor with 220psi in each cylinder.
  6. No but I heard them mentioned on a bonus track on the newest Bowling for Soup CD. Mars Volta wants you back.
  7. Yeah we will do a design contest in the near future. The only downside is you can't use a pinup model, If 3 years down the road she gets a banshee and buys rockets and see sher picture was used without her permission a lawyer will hang my ass out to dry.
  8. I have a group of guys going out Sunday to some private trails in Demotte, anyone close that wants to join us hit me with a PM. We are riding around Noon till dusk. the trails are about 2 miles directly west of I-65, down route 10 to the flashing yellow light, turn right, half block turn right all the way down to the curve, last house before the curve onthe right.
  9. Depending on elevation at or near 120#
  10. Yeah Ben if you can come up with a site or referre me to someone that can lay out the requirements that'd be great. I'd love to do stainless its just one of those things that I'm gonna need time to get worked out. I'm gonna look into the flat stainless allen heads also, plus the stinger tube to silencer screws will be switched to stainless. Mine rusted already Can't have that.
  11. I have a 404 and run 220psi with 19cc big bore domes.
  12. He's right you should be fine at 94 octane. only time you may wanna pay attention is at the low elevation, but as you go up your compression will go down.
  13. stock reeds? aftermarket exhaust? depending on elevation I'd say drop to a 45 pilot. main is close with an aftermarket exhaust, maybe a bigger one like a 185 or 188.
  14. 3 kicks to start is fine especially with the choke off thats good. Plus guys he said only 1 kick with the choke on. He is fine.
  15. Well where would I put the second mounting point at? If it meant that much to you I would be glad to add a second mounting tab on a set for you. Anymore styles I make I will try to make sure they clear the rz valves.
  16. Well I have two avenues on the silencers right now. Rivets are real cheap to where you could just drill em out and redo them a couple times and it'd still cost less than the screws. I haven't made up my mind yet on that. The track pipe, I love the 2-1 I ran and if I could get it setup to run a stronger mid than the motofast/dynoports I may make one. I'm looking into stainless. I'd like stainless too. Also I'm looking into tacking the pipe clamps onto the pipe itself and extending the stinger a tad more to make a nice seal. Have to see how that will go first. The bracket is rather strong and sturdy, actually I thought it was stronger than the T-5's I used to have on my shee. The rockets with the right setup will turn a strong low end. I rode some tight ass trails yesterday and kept up with a vforce 700. And those things are auto trannys. Put it in 2nd and kept it there, shifted up a few times when the trails opened up some. Raced him on a kinda ovalish track with a woop section and a couple berms and a real little jump and smoked him. And beat the other banshee running the fmf sts. or sst whichever order those letters go. On a side note I didn't have to feather the clutch a single time.
  17. I run Rockets in tech trails fine. They perform better than the T-5's I used to have. I can come to almost a dead stop in a turn and pull out just as fast if not as fast as one of the other shees we run with that has the FMF SST. All in your gearing and motor setup. I run 18" rear holeshots and a 15tooth front sprocket. 16 tooth front on more open trails and tracks. I'm heading out here in an hour to run in some tight trails again with the rockets. Keeping up with a vforce 700. And they have auto trannys
  18. Goto court over the warning. Its easy as pie to beat it. Old guy says you were doing 60-65, ask how he figured that speed out. Radar gun? tailing you? guessing? If he says I was tailing you well than right there he just admitted to breaking the law. If he says he guessed than they dont have a leg to stand on. And if he said radar gun make him bring it in and show the clocked speed. If he says he erased it than go well should have shown it to the cop than. Warnings aren't bad, but if you get pulled over for speeding a couple months down the road your gonna get a ticket because you have already been warned on record.
  19. I have an `01 blaster I thoght of that market too
  20. Spark arrestors may take me a bit to get fabed up. I wonder if taking some stainless steel screen and tacking it to the inside black tube in the silencer would work? The one that the packing goes around. As far as I know they just stick some rubber piece down the silencer to check. I will look into the orings.
  21. Yeah I was talking with my father actually after looking them over with him earlier. He suggested the allen heads instead of rivets also. Mid pipe clamp. How would you like that changed. Something along the lines of a direct bolt on to the frame without hangers? Or are you actually talking about where it connects the pipe to the stinger? Once the whole cost is laid out I may offer clamps for free, or maybe charge $10 and eat the extra $15. Or something like $25 for the clamps and free shipping or free clamps you cover shipping costs? I have a couple guys that have been welding for 20+years that are gonna be helping with the welding. One is my fathers neighbor and this guy is meticulous as hell about his welding so hopefully we will have that addressed in the near future. Banshee~ I believe they put out in the 94-96db range, low enough to get into Silver Lake and most other sound controlled areas.
  22. Yeah guys I picked up Rocket Pipes. I'll be getting all the equipment and dropping off the money Thursday. I opened this thread more to ask for some insight into what you guys are looking for that I may expand on. I already have clamps setup thanks duner . Next Holyman may be hooking me up with some springs so you dont have to pull a groin muscle stretching the stockers. Thanks Holyman Third I'm debating offering porting to match the pipes. Thinking something along the lines of send in your cylinders for $850 we' will port/hone them than send them back with a set of chromed rockets. Straightup for $350, $50 off if you already bought Rockets & more than likely $50 off as a BHQ discount. Any other ideas I'm open to. Something about them you didn't like? Something you'd like to see added or offered? Throwup some ideas. Thanks guys. Chris
  23. I'm gonna see what the steel prices on stainless are. I also thought about that. I suppose I'll open a thread up now in GD.
  24. If my memory serves me correct, its 1 jet size per 20* difference. Gets hotter oyu can drop a jet size, gets colder you can go up a jet size. I would jet for right around 10* F That way if it gets warmer you'll be fine just alittle rich, if it gets colder you'll be jetted right about where you need to be.
  25. Yeah didn't want everything to leak out early but the plan is to offer sending in your cylinders and for $850 shipped we'll port them to the pipes and send them back with a chromed set, obviously $750 for a bare set. Or do them for $350 straightup. $50 off if you already bought a set of Rockets. Going to offer pipe clamps also at $25-30. And looking at a local hardware store owner I know to possibly getting a bulk supply of springs that are a little longer so you dont have to stretch the hell out of the stock ones. If I can get them for under a $1/piece which I'm sure I probably can I'll throw them in free. Thats what is in the pipeline at the moment. I'll open a thread up for other ideas when I have the stuff here and its mine 100% in a week or less. Whenever I get the call from Tom. Give me a call Tom when you get a chance today.
