You'l really notice the difference when you start modding the quad. Rockets wil runn away from the T-6. Plain and simple... about a week from now and I"ll be caught up on orders, so the delays/back-orders shouldn't be near as bad of a problem as they are currently.

If your having to clutch it than you wouldn't be having too much tire spin.That all comes down to tire size/sprocket and shifting. Everyone complains about tire spin this, or bogging that, the setup that works for duning isn't gonna perform in the trails, and you have to consider that before you decide on your pipes. Hence why I'm able to hang in the woods with a 68mm CUB running Rockets. If your going Big Bore, get a pipe that can handle a bigger bore. Rockets, CPI, Shearer come to mind. Do a search find the dynos and find what RPM each makes thier peak torque and horses, and make sure it falls somewhere in what your planning on doing.

Let me know how those rockets work for you dajo. If you plan on porting and modding and get rid of the SST, switch up to Rockets. More power than the T-5s.

I run one and love it over stock thats for sure. I can find nuetral while the motor is running. From what I have gathered the recommendation is run one or the other, running both may cause you to double shift or something to that effect.

I'd hardly call 500rpm way more over-rev. PLus the dyno showed what we've been saying all along, shearers hit late and pull hard when they do, and rockets hit earlier and pull almost as long, making thier peak sooner than the shearers. Its all gonna come down to what you wanna do with your motor/quad. Considering Rockets aren't touted as a drag pipe I'd say they held there own against the top inframe drag pipe. As for the Cubs, Jim did you also hear the Cub exhaust port is about a 1/4" closer to the cylinder when the pipes are hooked up? I'm thinking of making up another jig to compensate for this as it may, or hell probaby wont, affect the operating temperature.

NYUK I did the drinking water and puking it back up cold about a month ago from drinking. Call any local cnc shop and ask them the turn around for 300 pieces, 200 aluminum and 100 steel. 2weeks MINIMUM. I had these other parts ordered 2 weeks ago, they "should" be done here Monday or Tuesday. You cannot get parts in that quantity immediatly, it wont happen. After these 50 sets are done and sold I think I"m gonna go with stainless. might cut into my profit by $25 or so after you factor in supply cost differences, and take out the chroming cost. On the upside I found a guy that can powdercoat a gold that looks almost identical to gold plating. If you know your shit it can be anything you want it to be. Most of the people saying they arent trail friendly havent rode one in the trails, hell next time anyones down in NW Indiana hit me up I'll let you ride it. The bike is what you make of it, 14 tooth with 20" tires or a 15 tooth with 18" tires should suit you fine in the trails. even better with a -2 swinger and pushing 160psi per cylinder. get it jetted right and youll be set.

Guys changing plugs on the rockets are so fucking easy, I do see where everyone keeps saying its so hard. Theres such a big gap where the bend is that you reach right in there and swap out the plug. The silencers are welded on one end an riveted on the other but I am changing that to a button head screw so you can get that packing changed without having to rerivet. and I have another trick up my sleeve that this batch of silencers may get done to it.

Theres some wait here. Tom still had some to get done for Ray that were taking forever at the chromer. I think last time I spoke with Tom he was gonna be picking them up soon and getting them out. The ones that ordered after I took over, I should have them done mid-week than hopefully by the end of the week chromed and shipped out the beginning of next week.
