I ran WSM pistons same brand, different version that i run in my cubs now. I have the pistons still, theres just some scuff marks where it was ready to sieze BUT DIDNT because of a blown gasket that leaked coolant into the cylinder I believe only the right one. Wasnt a big leak but was enough that it fucked up the performance noticably. Plus the ridiculous amount of white smoke outta the silencers helped give it away.

I still have my set of 404 sleeved cylinders, need a hone anyone interested? Just a cleanup port nothing special. $325+shipping or $375+ shipping with the big bore domes. Will put compression in the 180ish range. Need to sell asap. I also have a dynoport 2-1 pipe if anyone wants it $200 shipped. Its the black finish ran strong for me. Noob41, not many builders have Rockets to do testing with. Let them get around and test some and I bet they find a port timing that makes them shine, actually we have that timing if any builder wants some. And for the gaining financially bullshit. How about Toomey? or maybe CPI? than put that against Rockets for how small the company is, word of mouth is traveling fast, and word doesn't travel like that without them doing and/or beating the other competators. As for testing a set whoever was waiting I do have 2 bare sets, I may pass one off to Ray come next weekend at Silver Lake for you to try out. As for the chrome it is a Triple Plated Show Chrome, the shit looks outstanding hands down. As for $450 for Chrome, theres a reason they are that cheap and unless he is doing the chroming himself he isn't making shit off those pipes compared with the R&D put into them. Loco hit it on the head, if you overheat with some cubs on theres a serious problem, I bet they hold as much as the radiator. Running trails and I know I"m about a size lean on my pilot and I haven't had a single overheating problem.

Well I noticed this thread earlier in the week when it was first posted, had I not been on my way out the door I would have posted. Than I bust my ass all week working 10-12 hour days on som ebig jobs and figure I"ll drop back in here and see whats up and all I see are people doubting the cub cylinders in the trails. PEOPLE I RUN CUBS STOKE STROKE 68MM BORE WITH ROCKETS AND A SINGLE 35MM TRINITY SETUP AND HAUL ASS THROUGH TIGHT TECHNICAL TRAILS. Matter of factly last Sunday it was the nicest day its been almost all year so far and I ran into 3 450's out in the trails 2 stock and 1 piped and filterd. I'll be fucking damned if I not only was right on thier ass through woops and all, but than in the small open field seperating trail areas I smoked the holy hell out of them and its only a short strip as soon as you get into 4th your shutting down. If you know how to ride have the compression and gearing down right these fuckers will haul ass anywhere you want them too. A top end pipe on a "drag" cylinder how the fuck did I keep up with them? Oh thats right BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE POWER EVERYWHERE AND I KNOW HOW TO JET MY CARB. I've only been riding for 3-4 years so I dont consider myself a super season vet trail rider. If you haven't rode a cub cylinder in the woods even if your a builder, dont lambast the cubs as piece of shit trail cylinders. I can take my cub right from the trails swap out tire to paddles and run the shit out of it on the dunes, than turn around and swap the tires again and run it on the strip, and go back and switch tires again and run MX. Gearing and tire ratios have alot to do with it. 22" drag tires, 20" 8 paddle haulers and 18" holeshots. 15 tooth front 41 rear. It hauls ass and ill be damned if I'll sit here and listen you you bash my setup without ever riding it. Also if it came to a lower powerband I'd throw my motofast 2-1 pipe on. I had a 404 sleeved with a cleanup done, not even a low woods port stricly cleanup with 40psi higher compression than my cub setup and it was a very noticable difference in power with the advantage to the cub.

I come home from working 10-12hour days and get the kid thrown in my arms to take care of him because and I quote, "I've been watching him all day you watch him I need to rest." Wheres my downtime when do I get to say here I've been working all month you goto work. The first 2 weeks with the kid weren't hard. I was there for it mine was rather quiet only cried when he was hungry, also breastfeeding made the nights easier on me obviously. But hell I had almost 3 weeks off last month and didn't have a problem with the kid, all these problems she says, cant get him to sleep cant get to to be quiet and play. I saw that maybe once or twice a day when HUU HE WAS TIRED odd how that crankyness jumps out like a sore thumb. I'd have no problem switching and letting her ass work and me staying at home.

I know what your talking about, as I have always used my front brake I use my back maybe when I'm jumping thats about it. I can dive right into the corner balls to the wall and turn and shoot out like a rocket without a problem. I do run a zero preload spring also. I can case some woops with my elkas and be fine. Honestly I thought thats how everyone hit corners, if you down shift right bfore you hit the corner your R's will be high enough that you can powerslide if need be, and/or be righ tin the powerband when you nail the gas again.

They opened the strip up Saturday, I'll have a timeslip on mine come this time next week. I'm running the strock stroke 68mm bore. My clutch needs some adjustment I think. Cant quite put my finger on the problem. They are definately a top end cylinder though. Noticable difference from my stock cleanup ported 68mm. By 4th I had reeled in an auto trannyd vforce 700 with dual exhausts. He's always gottn me on the rolling starts because of the auto. Ready to pass him on the more open trails still though.

Pussy turned himself in yesterday around noon he was afraid to be on the street, found out about the cops and all the hits out on him. I was at my sisters friend funeral and half the people there knew of at least 3 people out roaming and packing looking for the fuck. Which doesn't include the 3 local departments looking to light his ass up for my sisters death. Cops were hitting 8-10houses a night looking for him. They weren't fucking around thats for damn sure. All three are getting a capital punishment sentence thrown their way. The first 2 caught are looking at 300 years/piece if the death penalty doesnt go through. But that shouldnt be a problem at all.
