  2. hmm it depends on what you wanna run. See I would go 13 with 22", 14 with 20" and 15 with 18". Figure 1 tooth per tire up/down. He could pull a 16 with 18 but a 15 would suit it much better.
  3. MrMatt quit doing it. Was taking up too much of his time. Theres a guy on e-bay that sells them in -2 size. I bought one from him and it has held up very well. I think I only paid something like $175+shipping. Always nice to have a backup swinger with the stock one just incase shit happens.
  4. IMpeller is easy as pie to replace. Pro design is the one I used. Its a must do if that impeller fails when your hauling ass down a trail expect to overheat really badly.
  5. Well I took this shampoo kit man I wish I remembered the name of it. Anyway it was like 3 years ago you had to do it right before you went for the test, so thankfully I knew after the interview I ws going to have to take the test. I showered and used the shampoo before leaving for the interview and passed with flying colors. They take a urine and hair sample I failed the urine becaseu hell I msoked 2 days before. But I blamed the urine on the poppy seed cake my grandma makes and they laughed. Told em well laugh all you want just wait for the hair test results. Sure as shit I passed. The main things with the shampoos, do it for an extra 30sec.-min past the time they say leave it in for. Dont touch your hair with ANYTHING that has touched your hair before. Dont use the comb, dont wear the hat, Nothing can come in contact or you risk contamination. Lastly they generally take it from the upper back of your hair, by where AlfAlfas hair used to stand up. So concentrate on that area the most. Good luck.
  6. This piston crown has an ash colour, which shows that the engine has run hot. The ash colour is actually piston material that has started to flash (melt) and turned to tiny flakes. If this engine was run any longer, it probably would've developed a hot spot and hole near the exhaust side and failed. The main causes of this problem are too lean carb jetting, too hot spark plug range, too far advanced ignition timing, too much compression for the fuel's octane, or a general overheating problem. Probably what your looking at on the piston so expect a minimum new pistons and hone/bore job depending on how the wall looks. Change out the oil in your crankcase too in case any of the flakes got down in there. http://www.mztech.fsnet.co.uk/workshop/wrk_piston.html Good site to look at when you get the top end off, you can match the damage to the pictures and get an idea of what went wrong.
  7. Sorry id the spelling is fucked, but is there a certain way to thake the blaster axle out put to replacement axle bearings in. Like hit it left or right.
  8. Although his story may be bullshit a friend of mine actually did have someone break into his garage and steal his banshee parts and only the shee parts. They probably would have taken the shee if he didnt keep it at his parents with it being closer to our riding area. He was pissed he had finally collected all the shit he wanted to put on it. Pipes,filters,a-arms,shocks,plastics,radiator,coolhead,larger carbs. He wanted to do it all at once. He go his money back thanks to insurance and having the reciepts for the stuff still.
  9. Hey guys I'm about to ditch the stock chain in the next week or two as it is pretty beat up. Anyway does anyone know off hand how many links I should get my next chain for. I switch between the 13 tooth and 15 tooth fronts depending on the time of year and what I'm out to ride.

  12. Yeah. I cant even imagine how smooth the shifting would be with that and the shift star. I'd be like shifting and not even knowing it.
  13. If your gonna do the shift star mod you might as well. you'll have everything apart anyway. I did it on mine and it was definately a noticable difference in shifting ease.

  15. If oyu can get a set for $200 or close to it I say grab them. For the riding you dexcribe chances are you wont be needing the top end and it will be able to hang a ton better in the woods with the newer 4 strokes. If a cylinder dies first thing you'll notice is the power drop. Secondly it will become cooler on that side with no extra heat to disipaite.
  16. Well Tax season is upon us. Now that I have finally got everything I need for my house except a few little things. I am looking at a pair a shotguns. One for me and one for my fiancee. I'd like a 12ga obviously, for deer hunting. I have an old buddy that lives about 45min away that I can hunt the DNR preserve about 1/4mile from him. You can hunt dove, pheasant, duck, goose, deer whatever is in season. I dont know shit about shotguns as I was and am still an avid bowhunter. I woud like to know what woul dbe a good gun to purchase in the $400-500 range for me and a smaller guage for the fiancee....now keep in mind she is 5"2 and about 130lbs. Also how to the chokes work, how does changing out shots for each work. Feel free to go into detail I'll read thuroughly as I have close to a month to decide on what I want.

  18. Go with Trinity. All them years in R&D wasn't for nothing. They're motor work is tried and true many times over. The only bad you'll hear about Trinity is the customer service. If you run into delays or problems with getting a hold of someone rocketpig on here works for Trinity and would be glad to assist you. My sleeved 420 with the pro mx porting hauled insane ass. Period.
  19. For trails and MX its hands down the one you want. Smooth powerhit. Pulls hard as hell down low. As far as dragging you'll get up to speed quicker because of the increased torque from the 2 into 1 but it will sign out sooner. Gear up a tooth or 2 in the front depending on your motor mods and that should kinda alleviate that problem. But remember to gear back down for your trails and mx. 15 tooth or 14 tooth would bee good. 16 for drags if you can pull it.
  20. Get the kit with the air box adapter plate and you will be all set in that department. Although the K&N that comes with the carb may work better.

  24. Thats a damn shame. Trinity is trying to fix these CS problems but it looks like its slow going. Yeah PM rocketpig he should be able to help alleviate the problem. That whole 1/12 thing is crazy you sure some moron in the shipping department isn't fucking up. If he's trying to figure out the problem I can understnd being on hold for an extended period of time. He has to call other people and is himself probably getting put on hold.
