Are you sure its loading up? Sounds like the pilots need bumped up a size or two. Tried moving your airscrew to see if it makes a difference? May take a second or two for the change to take effect. I had a problem that sounds similar when I threw on the cubs and an increase inmy pilots alleviated the problem, got it so tuned in that its been sitting unused for almost 3 months now, walked out turned onthe gas and within 4 kicks shee fired right up.

Like stated above you'll lose some over-rev. But with a highercompression you'll gain some low end if your doing trails and the like. My last trail top end was running 220psi/cylinder. Had gobs of low end torque, coupled with a 2 into 1 pipe and 2 into 1 carb wow.

If its coming out of a hose, honestly just replace the hose. If its the radiator try a local truck stop, like the TA, they usually carry a radiator leak stopper. 68mm cubs the domes will have to be milled to big bore versions. The head should stay the same though. I sent Dave a set ages ago when he didn't offer BB domes. I believe he cuts them now and for McCoys Performance. Correct me if I"m wrong.

I've rode on a few sets of chrome rockets, rode with local guys that bought some off me too, none of us have had any blueing. I think it has to do with us running on the richer side as within the last 2 weeks its gone form 80* down to 30* than back up to 70* and now around 50* so we keep it 2 jets rich at 80*, helps keep us from burning up the engines. Real tests are when we hit the lake and run for miles Wide Open. Hopefully thelake stays frozen this year more than a week and we can hit the 300ft ice drags. I was taking a hazmat tech class that day. Needless to say 90% of us in the class had to grab our stuff and get down to one of the FD stations for assignments. I remember getting home early the next day from pulling a 18hour shift. Walking down to the mailbox to mail some letters and in awe of how quiet the neighborhood was. Nobody was outside like they usually were, dogs didn't seem to wanna bark, hell I think I saw2 cars driving at 9 in the morning. Utterly surreal.

Yeah hell I ran a vforce 700 (who was revved out) and passed him in 4th gear with 2 more gears to go. Fun pulling that, amazes those 450's doesnt it. Its the best feeling in the world when they ask how the hell your doing that. I love every minute of it.
