  1. If the carbs are stock then they are 26's. What is your elevation where you/your mate ride? When you said twin air filter, what do you mean? If you don't ride in any mud or water, then I would ditch the airbox lid at least, or have him switch to two pod filters mounted directly to the carbs. If you do ride in some nasty conditions, cut 1.5 inches off the back of the airbox lid and you'll be able to gain more air, and protect the filter from "most" of the elements
  2. I was so tempted to try a set of those but after looking at the price...that temptation vanished Andy does awesome work, but my blood is not that rich
  3. That's odd...I watched my friend on his bone stock yfz450 smoke a new raptor 700 with a trinity pipe. He even borrowed gas from the guy on the 700 to keep on smoking him, over and over. Not only is the 450 faster, but has better suspension too. Forget all that fuel injection, go with the 450...you'll be glad you did
  4. I'm not sure if that is Andy but you are correct about your theory
  5. I got a buddy of mine trying to sell his lt250, don't know if the 86 crank and 87 cranks are the same but I'll ask if he wants to part it out.
  6. How do you know it sucks? Who cares about watching DVD's, that's what a DVD player is for... I agree with most though, anything over 200 bucks for a game system is WAY too much. You could build your own gaming system now a days for under 300
  7. Merry Christmas to you too freestyler, as well as the rest of the HQ!
  8. Definitely agreed, especially if you're running stock carbs now. Probably would want something in the 33-35mm range, the person who ported your engine could tell you best though
  9. I say 66 HP, especially since you have the bansheeHQ go fast sticker
  10. Congratulations!!! Keep those grades up and maybe next report card he'll get you some pipes for that new ride!
  11. Word!! Don't think you could have said it better
  12. LMFAO...that was cold, Stan...but funny as hell
  13. I was having the same problem and I needed one of those brake bleeder vacuums (don't think that's the "real" term for it, lol ). Worked great, you can pick them up at Autozone I went through almost a full bottle of brake fluid and about an hour and a half before I broke down and got the vacuum; don't feel bad, I was there too
  14. Is it only rich at idle or is it too rich all the way around? If you're not ported, those 35's may be too much carb for your setup.
  15. Jeff is the man, no doubt!
  16. LOL, nothing wrong with that!!! Same rule applies at my house too
  17. If you ride in any dirt or mud don't bother polishing your cases...you'll be really sad after the first few rides. It's damn near impossible to keep it shining without polishing it every couple trips.
  18. LOL, I know you said you didn't want to do black but I think it would look best!!! I painted my engine cases a flat black, I think it makes the cylinders and billet goodies stand out more
  19. I wouldn't ask anything less than what you owe on it. If it's paid for, then 5,000 would be a good starting point.
  20. LOL, no doubt...I was thinking to myself, either this guy is 10/12 years old or has an empty melon on top of his shoulders.
  21. Outstanding!! Thanks for the input guys, my friend brews beer and he can only put it in bottles...we were hoping to bring some with us I can't freakin wait, this is gonna be awesome
  22. March 23rd - 26th I thought that too, but when I looked on their website it said no bottles in the dune area, but didn't mention the camp area... I'd rather find out for sure beforehand than get harassed by the rent a cops Hey loco, did you happen to see anyone with glass bottles last time you were there?
