  1. forgot to add the bike is in 43040 (Marysville, Ohio)
  2. A few of us are going to ride Door Run Saturday from 9-ish until 5 - ish. So far we have a ktm 525, my banshee, a craptor, and a 450 bike. Come on down and play before the Buckeye kick-off bt
  3. Salvage title, can get rebuilt title if need be. It has ~ 2700 miles on it, motor doesn't even have a scratch on it. Totally rideable. http://s792.photobucket.com/albums/yy202/btsshee/Ninja%20500/ bt
  4. Next year we are hopefully going into the UP to ride. We have a cabin in Brutus near Burt Lake. The Camp Deli is badass!! I have a MI trail atlas and have rode alot of the smaller trail systems in N MI. THe bilogical preserve is very cool. Actually passed a Subaru the last time I was riding through there. Funny shit. If it works out, would it be possible to meet up with your group in Wellsville to check it out?
  5. We ride at Shaboom (Black Lake) and around Douglas Lake every summer and love it. Other than the dunes, are there other great riding areas in MI? Since we regularly drive from OH to N. MI, I figure we shoud dtart finding other cool places to stop in and check out. Thanks, bt
  6. Bump... Not even one bite? I thought at least on BHQ'r would be without a bike and want to give it a try. For those of ou who haven't rode a 250, they are a pretty cool little bikes. Granted, it is not rocket, but it will haul a 160lbs. rider down the road with NO problems.
  7. Hello all, This is a great starter bike. I rode it for one season and now it is time to upgrade. Factory Warranty until 5/12/2010 Blue 42xx miles ~ 65 to 70 mpg No Damage Thank for checking it out. pix are here : Ninja 250R on Craigslist
  8. please shoot me a pic as well! freedad_30@hotmail.com bt
  9. This is a great idea! I will try to make it if the timing is right. I have several cancer survivors in my family. Good Luck! bt
  10. where are you located. I may be interested. I am in Central Ohio.
  11. I am running 20:1 amsoil / 93+ octane for the following three 5 minute sessions at low rpm (no more than 1/4 throttle) with cool downs between each run. three 5 minute sessions at mid rpm (no more than 1/2 throttle), w/ cool downs three 5 minute sessions at high rpm (haul a$$), w/ cool downs I also check the dip stick, coolant, and plugs between each run for signs of funny business. After that it is 42:1 amsoil synthetic in 93+ octane and ride as fast as possible This is probably overkill, but it gives me peace of mind that the pistons and gaskets are seated and coolant or oil are not leaking into places they shouldn't be. bt
  12. My HERR motor is badass. I ordered one from Kevin last fall and just had the opportunity to begin the break in last weekend. All I can say is holy Christ. This thing breathes so deep you can hear it drawing air over the tune of the pipes. 340 mains, stock pilot, +4 timing, boysen reeds, no airbox lid, fmf fattys. Still a little hard to start, but once it is warm it kicks right over. Kevin basically took a 1995 Banshee "boat anchor" and transformed it into an aggressive trail ported 4 mil monster. I am going to do the final breaking runs at higher rpm's this weekend. Worth every penny. I can't wait to race my buddy on his new KTM 525xc.
  13. I am from central Ohio and my family owns property near Petoskey. We ride Black Mountain / Black Lake. Anyone ride WAY up there?
