If you get your jugs ported, you should be able to run that 16/40 gearing with no problems. But, if you decide to get porting, you might want to think about getting some different pipes. T6's were designed to give maximum performance with a stock port engine. I think it might be a little tough on that engine if you don't have any other mods. Is there a particular reason you want to go that tall on your gearing?

LOL, oops, didn't think about you being in Africa...sorry! An SOS pad is the same as a steel wool pad, but it has soap in it too. You could use a steel wool pad, just throw a little soap and water on it before you use it. I don't know what kind of stores you have access to, but I pick up SOS pads (steel wool pads) at my local grocery store. People typically use them for dishes, cleaning ovens, etc.

The best way to tell is to do a plug chop. If your airbox is closed, the temps won't affect it as much and you won't have to go up but 1, maybe 2 sizes on the main (just guessing). If your airbox lid is off, or your airbox is removed, the cold air will have more effect (because there is more air) and you may be required to go up even more on the main jet. If I were you, I would go up 2 jet sizes, check the plugs, and go from there. If you're still lean, go up another size, etc.

They'd look better than some dull, faded stock wheels Some people don't have the money to go out and buy the nice fancy shit, there's nothing gay about trying to polish your stock wheels. I've polished a stock rim and it didn't take much work and made the wheel look 10 times better than before.... If you just want to make your wheels shine a little more, try using some Mothers aluminum polish on them. If you're wanting to fully polish them, there are a couple really good threads on here explaining how to do so. Do a search for polishing; RNBRAD made a post and Meat_Head made a post with great details.
