I agree...if you don't have the juice to pull those gears you won't be getting that top speed. i can definitely relate with NYUK on how scary it is at high speeds. When I first ran my rigid chassis and this drag port, I was nervous to hit 5th I was rolling so fast. That was with 18/38 gearing

I have a pair of Kicker CompVR12's in my prelude, powered by a Phoenix Gold Octane 8.0.1 amp, running roughly 800 watts to them. They hit really hard and have great sound quality, but are very power hungry subs (400W continuous/600W peak). I've had them for years now and they keep on taking the beating I give them, I listen to a very wide variety of music and they seem to sound good with no matter what I play through them. Here's my setup I put together last year...I wasn't going for anything elaborate, just something that was clean looking and sounded good You can't see the amp that powers the subs, it's on the other side of the box

Yep, it's a damn shame I didn't get more use out of them. The dirt strip I ran them at wanted 40 bucks a night to run, didn't even give you a timeslip, just a piece of notebook paper with your time on it I'm going back to the asphalt setup, hence, why I don't need the tires. I appreciate you hooking me up with them in the first place Jeff!!! Tires are sold though, meeting race-a-holic this weekend

I have a pair of pro wedge 2's for sale, only used about 3 times, in great shape. They're mounted on 8 inch aluminum wheels, I'd like to get 175 shipped for them. They haven't been used since this pic, but I can take better pics for those who are interested.

Man, that's a requirement if you drive a car through the hood here in Memphis. We have shit like that ALL over the place here. My friend works at a chevy dealership, he sees them all the time. Those dumbasses go and put 26 inch wheels on their 6 cylinder box chevys and bring it in complaining it takes forever to get up to speed...HMMMMMMMMMM I wish you guys could see what these shops do to the frames on those cars; totally butchered. It's amazing they're still driveable.
