  1. Hey Dallas! Do you still have any rear paddle tires you want to get rid of?
  2. LMAO  Happy Birthday!
  3. http://www.bikepics.com/ The site admin has great taste!

  5. Thanks for clearing that up!! I was reading about it and had no idea what she was talking about. It was terrible to hear he passed away, my condolences to all his friends and family
  6. Air filter, pipes, and a head would be a BIG difference over stock. I wouldn't concentrate so much on the reeds as one of your first mods...get some reeds when you get port work done. The heads we're talking about are either cool heads, noss heads, etc. They allow you to change the dome size and increase compression, as well as cool better than the stock head. Check out this link: http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm
  7. Brad, as much as I would love to have your banshee, I think you're doing the right thing by hanging on to it. Even if you did want to trade it, I would have to pay YOU to take mine, LOL! Buy another bike, that's the easiest thing to do
  8. It's good isn't it? I don't think anyone ever set any dates, but it's something we should go ahead and do considering it's almost the new year. I'm still going in late March, and I'd like to make this one too  I'm game for whatever, I don't have school or anything that would interfere....someone else pick the dates, I'll take the time off
  9. ^^^^^ That is the same I approach I would take
  10. Me personally, I like MB quarts. The infinity components are real nice too, I used to run a set back in the day. I just love the crisp sound that quarts put out, I'll always run them in my vehicles. You can actually get them for a good price on ebay too.
  11. It's cool man, I don't mind... If Brad is wanting to trade his banshee, I have a feeling there's going to be several other people jumping in and trying to get it  His ride is truly one of a kind
  12. $500 - all it needed was carbs, new rings, and a hone....fired right up
  13. I got another one for you guys....what is a "smurf duner"? There was a post on PS about a member that passed away on the dunes, and when the guys GF was explaining what happened, she said he got tangled up in a smurf duner
  14. I know it's off topic, but I don't understand what you mean, to stare at the same thing over and over  Who's staring at what?
  15. Thanks Brad! I'm really hoping this deal locally goes through...it's supposed to be real clean, hardly ridden...trinity head, porting, 2 into 1 carb, trinity pipes, and some other nick nacks. I'm getting the guy to throw in some quicksand a arms and shocks if everything goes as planned....but he's taking his time and keeps dragging on and on about it....so I wanted to have something else in the background in case this deal falls through. You wanting to trade your banshee? :woot:
  16. There is a lot of good info in this thread. I have been cage training my pit ever since she came into my house. Whenever we're not home, she's in her cage. She just turned a year old and she'll walk in her cage and hang out on her own; it's like a den for them. Once she has proven to us that she can be trusted in the home unsupervised, then we'll start leaving her out when we go to work, etc. The key to controlling chewing is making sure they have plenty of toys, I highly recommend the Kong toys...my dog can chew on that for hours and not mess it up  Like bansheefreak said, when you see them chewing on something they're not supposed to, tell them no immediately then hand them one of their toys; they'll catch on....The stuffed animal toys are fun for them because they can rip them to shreds, but be careful with those, if they eat the stuffing, you'll be pulling it out their butt when they poop. Nothing worse than seeing your dog run around with a dingleberry and they can't do anything about it, you have to pull it out...LMAO, unless you want them coming in your house like that  For housebreaking your dog, anytime mine would pee or poop on the floor (amazingly mine only pooped once in the house), I would pick her up and rub her nose all in it while telling her no, then take her outside and set her in the grass. Took me two weeks to train her that way...she didn't like having her nose rubbed in it at all!!! Definitely praise them a lot when they go outside on their own. I also recommend not letting your dog get on the couch or furniture when they're a puppy. I believe it helps to teach them boundaries when they're young, it's helped mine to distinguish what's hers and what's mine. Get your dog their own bed to lay on, they'll learn that it is their couch to sit on, like you have your couch... This is what I use as a quick treat for when mine is good, or I'm training her....she absolutely loves it, she'll do whatever I ask her to if this kong stuffin is involved (she likes the peanut butter one best). I use this once, then praise her without, and so on...that way she doesn't know when she gets the treat, and eventually I'll ween her off this and my praise alone will be sufficient for her...I'll just squirt a little of this stuff on my finger and let her lick it off as a treat This is the kong toy I got for mine, they also have kong rubber bones that you can put biscuits in the ends of them. For the regular kong toys, I'll fill them up with dog biscuits and my dog will have a great time trying to get them out, and it'll keep them occupied for a while...and it praises them in itself for chewing on their toy. Definitely check out the dog whisperer...if for nothing else, he'll point out things you'd never think of on your own, and you'll learn what to look for in your dogs behavior, so you can correct them before they do something wrong, and prevent a situation altogether. Pits are extremely loyal dogs, and they are hungry for attention and affection. If you train them properly, you'll have one of the best dogs you can imagine. Be patient, pits can be very frustrating going through their puppy phase Sorry for the novel, I just enjoy passing on what I've learned and what works for me...the more well trained pits there are in the world, the better their rep will become, so I hope!!
  17. Where are you located? If this deal I have pending falls through, we can definitely do some talking....your banshee is damn near what I'm looking for....
  18. I appreciate the offer but I think a cub is going to be a little more than I'm wanting for a trail bike. I will definitely keep you in mind though if I reconsider
  19. Agreed, good post Wallrat
  20. Miami is a little too far for me, but I appreciate the offer
  21. LOL, I've had people offer, but they want to trade straight up for a banshee with just pipes and a filter, no cash...which would be a hell of a deal for them, and a big loss for me. I don't mind taking a small loss but I'm not gonna lose a lot on the deal. I have a feeling I'll end up just selling it and taking that money and buying another banshee. If I have someone interested and it doesn't work out for me, I'll send them your way, maybe it'll work for you.
  22. Looking to trade my 450 for a banshee....I have a local guy that's interested but he's taking his sweet time and I don't know if it's going to happen. Figured I'd put up a post and gauge interest and see what others have to offer. I'd preferably like a banshee with pipes, carbs, filters, some kind of suspension mods, porting would be a plus. If it lacks some of the stuff I'm looking for I'd be willing to trade for the banshee + cash...I'm open for negotiations though. Let me know what you guys have, I'd be willing to drive up to 4 hours to meet someone, I live in Memphis, TN. 05 YFZ450 - hardly ridden, sits in the garage most of the time Trinity full exhaust Cam mod K&N pro flow kit Zip-ty fuel screw AC nerf bars Parking brake block off as well as a few other billet accessories Duncan front bumper Quad is in great shape, has normal wear and tear from riding, a few scuffs on the plastics. Engine is in perfect running order, changed oil frequently with amsoil 10-40 Only thing missing in this pic is the nerfs, they were added after the trip
  23. That's exactly the reason I'm wanting to trade my yfz450...they're great bikes and all, but not as much fun to ride as a banshee, IMO.
  24. Who did the porting? Is the crank welded?
  25. Parts are very nice! What color red is that on the swingarm/hubs, etc.?
