  1. That's the first thing I thought....
  2. I personally wouldn't have it done...Just think...for every rebuild you'd have to have the new pistons cut to match the porting. I think the gains are minimal too. It just seems like more hassle than its worth
  3. 06 it is...there were a few other changes that were made in 06 as well. 1" longer steering stem, either the swingarm or carrier is different, etc. Yamaha has all the changes listed on their site
  4. Hang in there man, you'll figure it out soon
  5. I've been ordering my stuff from http://www.chassisshop.com/ They have good service and quick shipping, don't know how their prices compare though
  6. Yeah right, slow huh? If you're using that same engine and slapping it on an aftermarket chassis, your bike is gonna fly I talked to Randy a few times, he's actually supposed to be stopping by my house today so we can get some measurements for the wheelie bars he's building. I know he's disappointed about PS, but don't know if he's going to be a paying member or not...I'll be sure to let him know you're on here, it'll be a matter of time before he signs on if he hasn't already  Hey, there are a lot of people that are on here that don't have banshees...I'm sure in due time the forums will be taking a slightly different path given the events taking place, and I believe if the majority of folks want or don't mind it, Lee would probably add sub forums for the non-banshee owners.
  7. Hey Chad, glad to see you here...Do you have anything new planned for this upcoming season? I hope to be running in the pro class with you, Frank, Mike, etc
  8. Bring it!!!, I think the drag section needs some spicing up over here  I've always been interested in tripples Welcome PS members, glad to see a lot of you stopping by!!!
  9. No matter how many times he posts in a thread, I always take a second to stop and watch the boobies...it's mesmerizing.
  10. Keep an eye on ebay....I bet it's about to start picking up in that area
  11. That is an excellent point
  12. Hope you have a good one Derek, I'll have several cold ones for you tonight
  13. Damn right!! HQ is home to me  This place has always been good to me, I've met a lot of great people, helped others as others helped me, made some good deals...and Lee has been cool enough not to "force" anyone to pay for it... We can discuss stuff freely and speak the truth without fear of being banned or have our post deleted. That whole mess about getting banned if you talk bad about a sponsor is fucking pathetic. I'm not saying that people should knock a site sponsor, but if a member had a bad dealing with a sponsor he has every fucking right to let others know about it...Good riddance to PS, I never spent a whole lot of time there anyways
  14. There's only one word to sum that up...GREED To be 100% honest, the information you could find over there can be obtained by picking up a phone and calling the builder or a shop, it's not like it's top secret classified info, LOL! Hell, I learn more technical stuff talking to people at my local track than I do chatting on forums. It's all good though, he won't see a dime of my money...
  15. You can get a 421 cub from a LOT of different builders. The best thing to do though is get you a list of different builders (just doing a search on here will give you several to start with), call them all up. Talk to them about what you're wanting to do and whoever gives you the best feeling, go with them. I've had excellent dealings with F.A.S.T. racing, he does great work, superb customer service, and has almost everything you need in stock, or can get it quick. He'll have my business as long as I own quads
  16. I need either 20cc or 21cc domes to fit a trinity head... Thanks!
  17. LMFAO, I remember when that happened :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  18. Definitely don't get the i-razr's...they hook good but have a terrible life span
  19. That's no shit either...I was blown away from hearing how much some of these hardcore drag racers spend on their bikes. A lot of them have 5 grand in the chassis, paint and plastics, if not more...and then you have the engine
  20. You run a wheelie bar with that, right? Yes indeed...or a nice solid strut (my preference)
  21. PM sent  I know exactly what you mean. Last spring trip my banshee made it out on the sand maybe twice, both times running like crap. I had changed a few things just before the trip and knew I shouldn't have...I was just after more power, lol. Needless to say my 450 was ridden almost the whole trip, but I still had a great time hanging out with everyone and watching others run out at the strip. It would be cool if you can make it, but understand if you can't.
  22. You can do it! Hell, I haven't even started rebuilding my drag bike, and am about to tear apart my trail bike...you have plenty of time! I just reserved my camping area...same as last year...1b, 2b, and 3b. Tyler, you're more than welcome to claim 3b again if you want it. I should only need 1.5 of the 3 spots I reserved, lol  https://secure.ismasters.com/%7Elspsonli/cg...site_select.cgi
