  1. ^^^ I agree. The 33's will work but the cubs definitely like more fuel. I'd say 35's for a clean up port, 39's for a drag port. I run 39 PWK's on my 421 cub
  2. Yep, 1-5 override, 14/42 gearing. I cross the line at the top of 5th. Have you tried shifting quicker? In that video, I hit 4th as I passed the tree. Granted, the tree at Bonne Terre is a little further out than most, but it couldn't have been more than a 100' from the starting line.
  3. Red lighted, but didn't break out. I ran a 4.42, it's kind of hard to read the slip
  4. 300 feet Here's the only timeslip I could find, it was a 4.42 @73mph...I'm 19XU, left lane
  5. I ran a 4.41 @73mph but I was running out of gear about 3/4 track. I had it geared for pro wedges and they swell up, which will make your gearing taller on the top end, and didn't think about the fact that paddles don't swell, lol. I'd love to come up, Kennet is not very far, just over an hour away. I passed by it going to/coming home from Bonne Terre Let me know when the next race is, I'll bring a couple friends too  Here was my 4.41 pass
  6. I'm going up to Bonne Terre again this weekend, I'll try and remember to ask some of the locals at the track about the db limit. A group of them just went last weekend
  7. I was hoping you didn't, but we all do some odd shit every now and then so I wasn't sure, lol
  8. I saw that a while back when searching ebay for nitrous parts...I agree with NYUK, it won't do much but probably give you a little blurp in power for a second, might be good for getting that little extra edge in a race, but don't expect it to last very long... I did the math, and those 8 gram cartidges = .0176 lbs. It would take 142 of those cartridges to equal a 2.5 lb bottles worth. From what I'm told, with a 20 shot and 2.5lb bottle, it's good for about 6-8 passes. I could really break it down and figure what you'd be in for, but in a nutshell, you're looking at a few extra HP for a second or so, just my opinion  If you really did buy it, let us know what it does....
  9. I'd be willing the bet the "falcon" edition is their version of our "limited" edition
  10. The mounts are different...
  11. Also could be a broken reed causing this....
  12. There are so many choices out there aside from those two...are you looking for inframe, out of frame, does it matter? Are you drag racing on a track, in the dunes, in a field? Do you have ported cylinders? Lots of variables to consider
  13. I'm not sure if you've tried this or not, but you could burn a CD of songs through napster that you want to use in a video, then use a CD ripper to pull the music off the CD and back onto the PC. I've never tried it before but it's worth a shot. If you don't have a CD ripper, you can download a trial version for free to get it done. If you want, just tell me the song or songs you're needing and I can probably help you out
  14. I haven't used Napster in a loooong time, but the last I remember was that you could only use Napster's media player and burner to listen or record the music after you download it. Other programs like winamp or WMP wouldn't open or recognize the files, same for my burning software....things may have changed, but that's what it did to me. I cancelled that shit after the first month. You may be having something similar going on, where it's not letting your video making software use/recognize the music
  15. Do you have a throttle cable in your stash of parts?
  16. How do you figure that? The crossover tube has to go somewhere....
  17. You got them for under $200 bucks, wheels included?
  18. I'm heading up to Bonne Terre, MO and meeting with trex banshee to do some racing this weekend, anyone in the area that's interested should come on up. It's mainly ET (bracket) racing but there is a heads up class. There should be some big bikes out there, it'll be a good time for sure  Races are Sat. night, I believe the gates open at 4 and racing is 6-7 ish Test and tune Sunday starting at noon.
  19. It's my pleasure Jeff, glad to be able to help out, even if it's something small. You've always been real good to me as well, it's great knowing such good people like yourself
  20. Thanks Dallas!! It's always a pleasure to deal with you as well. I just can't resist all the good prices you keep throwing my way, lol!
  21. Looks like you all had a great time, I saw the pics and vids on PS  So who had the fastest pass out of the HQ group? Congrats 479 on second place!!!!
  22. I'm basing my judgement on the fact that I have seen them run on my local track, and have had the opportunity to take close looks at the frames and see the craftsmanship. Quick16 makes damn good frames and they go as straight as the track allows. No, I don't own one, but you don't have to ride one to have a valid opinion on them. Word of mouth and from the trusted people I know running them, and watching them run night after night is good enough for me. Sure, there are PLENTY of other builders making great frames, everyone's entitled to have their own flavor
  23. I don't run them on either of my bikes, and I ride through some nasty shit on my trail bike, lol
  24. We made a mount that attaches to the pinch bolts on the swingarm, and welded a brace between the frame rails to mount the top bar to. Here's a pic, mine and the bike next to me both have identical setups as far as the bar goes. We have quick release pins so there's no bolting/unbolting...I can take some closer up pics if you're interested. Don't know if you have a place to get the materials but we got ours from www.chassisshop.com, good prices, lots of stock, quick to ship
