  1. so it wont start unless you push start it and then it runs like a raped ape???
  2. seems like alot of ppl do this.. i just throw mine away and get news ones.. its worth a few bucks for a goood ride then to take a chance of it fouling again.. cleaning the plug wont always fix a bad plug anyways sometime its the guts that are bad.. anyways to tell if its sparking .. pull the plug out then hook the wires back on the plug and lay the threads on the plug on the head or anything metal on the banshee.. then kick it over see if it sparks.. or find a dumb ass friend hold it and see if he jumps when you kick it over.. lol good luck .. could be number of problems so gotta start some where.. you will know when you pull plugs if you overheated it and burn a hole in piston..
  3. check all your wiring might be a pinched peice somewhere .. check the wires going to the coil and check back by tail light i had a wire go bad there once.. was rubbing on something for sometime and decided to break..
  4. if somebody wants to go but worried bout buying paddles for one trip i will prolly have a set of v paddles someone could use for the weekend .. if not having paddles keeps you from coming down..

  6. im not being a prick just honest.. porting is not just grinding material off you have to know what your doing.. otherwise there wouldnt be biulders backed up for 2 months porting motors.. i would say search around learn more abour your motor .. and even when you do that you will [prolly figure out a pros work will give you better results and not screw up your cyls.
  7. i would suggest if you dont know what they do you not touch anything... porting should be left to the pros.. but its your cyls so do what you want..

  10. just call jim up for a 4mm stroker crank,plate,pistons, noss head setup for your stroker and you be set with your carbs and pipes.. and get a swinger too..
  11. i run dune port and a plus4 swinger and 10 paddles.. i would spin with the 10 paddles cus they was 20/10/10 extremes.. tried a set of 21 9 paddle and it hooked good would wanna come up some but not too bad.. i think the since the 21's were taller it was helping get out of hole where the 20's would drag in the sand they was so low profile..sand was pretty wet that weekend too cus it rained for 2 days while there.. next dune trip im run some 21 11 paddles.. i think i plus 6 will be almost too much where you will spin more then benefit. a plus 4 you will hook but more controlable.. i would go plus 4 first if you dont like it there would be twice the ppl looking for a plus 4 then say if you tried getting ride of a plus6 if it didnt work out..
  12. "crush tube" is strong and "lighter then square" might not be stronger but its pretty tough.. round tube is ok just needs more braces..
  13. your rear axle dont look wider then stock and the front a arms look stock too.. but if your happy rollon it with it and whoop some ass..
  14. sounds like your adjuster nut came lose.. seen it happen at the dunes..{wesw clutch issue} it came lose and the clutch wasnt spinning took back to camp and found the nut in bottom of the clutch side of case.. this was a hinson basket and lockup too which makes the adjuster bolt very short and not long enough.. i think even travis(bigboy }had this problem too..
  15. i got an old tire trick i have had to use few times but you have to be very carefull and prolly shouldnt recommend but a lil starting fliud in the tire and light it will bead up anything.. but you have to watch it could be very dangerous if you dont know what your doing... just sqiurt some in there like only a sec not any more you dont wanna blow the tire off.. then spray from inside tire to a trail on the ground plug in air hose and then step back and light the trail of starting fliud.. walla tire beaded up.. i will state again this is very dangerous so use min amount of starting fliud .. p.s. i take no responsabilty for any actions tooken from this post.!!!
  16. your gearing for less speed more take off.. but only one tooth .. i would try your stocker first it might have enough slack for one tooth .. then if not order a chain.. but your 14/42 is basically like going 13 and 1/2 in front.. 3 teeth in back equal 1 tooth in front est. basically... bigger in back low(slower but get then sooner) gearing bigger in front high{faster but take longer ) gearing and vice versa..
  17. ya you basically have taller ratio with a 2to5 over a 1to4.. with a 2to5 you pretty much gotta be dead on with your gearing.. wesw had a 2to5 and it was awesome but he went with a 1to5 for more options on gearing..
  18. it is just what you say a 1to4 is a 4speed and a 1to5 is a 5 speed.. some can make a 1to5 with 6 using the clutch.. a 2to5 is a 3 speed.. pretty much common sense.. most ppl are going to 1to5 becus you have more gearing options then say a 2to5..
  19. i used to use one but went back to stock.. my bro still uses his.. and a minus swinger works awesome for hookup and the turns.. .. here is what mine looks like with the swinger i had.. it was minus 2.5 inches with my hoosiers on the right side would actually rub my nerf bars where the lil bar is that comes back to make run to kick it over with the style of nerfs i have... but if your going from a +2 to a -2 you will notice a big diff... cus it is a big diff from stock to minus 2... trick2stroke on here got my minus swinger we traded.. you might pm him i know he loves it from the stock lenght leager i got from him.. so pm him ask him what he thinks too...

  23. well myself wouldnt by lsr anysways cus i can get cheaper.. i do have a metaltech swinger and they are nice.. you might search around for a new or used one..
