I got the ones without the net and would prefer them over the netted ones.... You could actually stand on them if you wanted and gives you a place for your heel to rest without falling into the net.. My buddy has the netted ones on his 450r so i know from experience... :cool:

hmm. Should fire right up. I would try some started fluid, do not use much though. Starter fluid strips oil from the cylinder walls, as long as its getting fuel it wont hurt to use a tiny bit. Did you make sure your choke tube was connected between your carbs?

I always use a new one, a yamaha oem one at that... All others have failed on me. And to answer your initial question, no do not use any sealer or anything.

your head isnt true or you have a blown head gasket... had the same problem a couple months ago...

Ive only used rockymountain, great customer service is worth the extra couple bucks... I always thought they were the cheapest for tires/wheels but guess not?!?

Head gasket, just had that problem lost week..

Yea, this was the first thing i did, it seemed to be bubbling and foaming.. Im going to try finding a head gasket around town tmo and see if that solves the problem..

It was full to the full mark, after it started spitting it was full all the way to the top

I started the shee up just as i got back from vacation and before it even got fully warmed up i felt water splash on my leg, this being the radiator overflow.. The water was cool and seemed to only do it as the revs got higher. I also noticed my coolant overflow tank was full as can be?!? First thing that came to my mind was that my head gasket is blown... Anyone else have these problems before? I dont want to rip my head off and it not be my head gasket i have a ride to do coming up soon too.. of course, lol.

correct the bottom arms are the ones that need to be cut... like someone else said get a kit that bolts right on from 2004limitedbanshee
