1. yeah different pipes should run different on different engine set ups but one thing is for sure is that you definitely know which pipes work real well with your set up, very nice. the CPI's come on a little sooner and the mid range is basically the same with the Rockets having a slight advantage but what i'm most impressed with is the Rockets are still building HP when the CPI's are dropping off.
2. oh, i see oilsmoke had the same idea and posted before i found meats info.
3. just send him a personal message. here's a link to his profile. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showuser=287
4. yes JW did have a good year and maybe should have won the trophy, i thought that he was going to.
5. OVER-RATED....... "you had better take a step back and look again" here are some ESPN links that tell a different story than you. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teamsched?teamId=201&year=2004 OU only played FOUR ranked teams and lost to ONE of them so they only beat THREE ranked teams and only ONE of them was ranked in the top TEN at the time, #5 texas (W12-0), #20 OSU (W38-35), #22 Texas A&M (W42-35), #1 USC (L55-19). they out scored the THREE ranked teams that they beat by an average of SEVEN points. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teamsched?teamId=2&year=2004 Auburn played FIVE ranked teams and BEAT all FIVE and FOUR of the teams were ranked in the top TEN at the time (although they did beat Tennessee twice). #4 LSU (W10-9), #8 Tennessee (W34-10), #5 Georgia (W24-6), #15 Tennessee (W38-28), #10 Virginia Tech (W16-13). they out scored the FIVE ranked teams that they beat by an average of ELEVEN points. these aren't speculations these are facts. as far as the heisman finalists...........can you say "media darlings". i'm not saying that they are a bad team but i still feel that they were slightly over rated. and yes the their two heisman finalists are good players.
6. sweet, that's what i thought. thanks for the pic.
7. the fact that OU was over rated doesn't make me an asshole, ASSHOLE. they may be better than they played last night but they were still over rated. i mean nothing personal towards OU fans, i just feel that they were over rated and i'm mainly pissed at the system and the fact that my team St. John's will never win a BCS championship because they aren't a media darling like some other teams (OU) that are able to stay highly ranked through out the season because of the media hype..... as long as you don't lose we the media will still love you, that's bullshit and that game is a prime example that there needs to be a playoff system. let the top 6th, or 8th (or what ever) ranked teams battle it out on the field. the bullshit preseason polls and the media kept a good team like auburn out of the hunt and kept OU in the hunt because they were ranked high in the preseason polls and they didn't lose, that's bullshit, play it out.
8. bansheeigo, is this a pic of where it's located? i can't see the pic. is the bracket mounted to the frame where the rear of the gas tank is bolted to the frame? i think it is, and if so i'll make my own when the time comes to replace my bars and bracket. thanks.
9. Im not making excuses, but USC dident play the real sooners and yes Jason White choked pretty bad. 302472 they didn't play the real sooners? did they play imposters, like little bitches in OU uniforms? dude face it, they were over rated.
10. yeah the Big Crock of Shit sucks ass. i agree that it should have been USC and Auburn not USC and highly over rated OU.
11. used 21cc domes that can be used in a prodesign or noss cool head. $25 shipped. thanks. chuck.
12. FMF SST pipes and silencers in good condition with FMF needles for stock carbs, $300 plus shipping. the crome is in good shape, it isn't in show crome shape, some gold discoloring near the cylinders and a little plastic from my riding boots (i'm told that it can be removed). PM me for pics. thanks. chuck.
13. yes, the hose coming out of the front of the head (not the top, small vent hose) is the output to the rad, and yes this is where you want to put your gauge.
14. damn......... how long will this offer last? like i mentioned earlier i'll be selling my pipes after the holidays so i can put that cash towards the new ones.
15. yeah i've seen them. after the holidays i'm going to try to sell my FMF SST's so i can put that cash towards the trinity's or maybe something else.
16. yeah they sell SS and chrome. i was refering to the chrome for $640. i'm sure that they are well made but damn they are steep.
17. does trinity manufacture their own pipes or does someone else do it? if someone else does, who are they, and do they make and sell a clone? trinity did some work for me which i'm very pleased with and i would like to run their pipes but $640 for a chrome set seems to high to me and they're a great deal more than other well known pipes. what other pipes seem to be about the same as the trinity pipes? my buddy has a set with the old style silencers and i really like these pipes and the way his bike runs from bottom to top. we have similar engine mods so i feel that trinity's pipe should run the way that i would like, but i would hate to shell out $640 bones. i found a web site that said that they were going for $480 (chrome) but when i called them they sayed that it was a type-o and that they were $670, damn that's high.
18. I'm still convinced that most engine failures that are blamed on oil are really air leaks or lack of other maintenance. 295309 I agree. 100:1
19. scott, i don't blame the least bit for not wanting to polish that cover. i would eventually like to have mine polished but i don't want to to it my self RNBRAD, that shee is looking damn good.
20. damn good buy for 75 bones. you said that yours has a barrel that's a inch longer, does it have the bull barrel as well? they are great pistols, i have one that has a 6-7/8 inch barrel and it's a sweet shooter.
21. get you a slingshot and bust their ass with that . my father in-law had the same problem so i loaned him my .177cal BB/pellet gun and needless to say that the squirrel population dwindeled in the neiborhood. if you did use a .22lr rifle you should use sub-sonic cartridges such as ones that are made by CCI called CB's. they are basically .22 shorts with little or no gun powder and out of a rifle they as quiet as a .177 air rifle . they're not recommended for use in semi-autos because they may not cycle the action and cause it to jam, but you could load one cartridge at a time and use it as a single shot so to speak.
22. thanks guys. i figured that as long as i don't accidentally grind deep into the upper shock bracket that it wouldn't weaken but i wanted find out if anyone has had trouble by doing this before i procede.
23. i cut my front fenders off and mounted some different lights on the fender mounting bracket by the side of the tank, the stock brackets look goofy and i would like to get rid of them because i don't plan on using them again. i was thinking about grinding the welds off but i was afraid of weakening the frame at that point. has anyone taken off these brackets, and if so have you noticed any problems with the frame weakening?
24. i was just wondering if the "higher octane" would cause a little problem with ignition if the plug gap was to big because "higher octane" fuels don't burn as easily as lower octane fuels. there's no doubt that i want a better spark but the "higher octane" fuel got me wondering about plug gap with the stock ignition and standard plugs. the increase in octane probably doesn't effect the plug gap by much or if any at all but i was just curious as to what others thought. thanks guys.
