i was at work and had to catch the steeler's game by radio. damn, that sucks trying to follow a game like that by radio!! i did get to see all the highlights later though. i agree with porter, the ref's wanted manning and the colts to win, and it definitely showed. by the way, the nfl's director of officiating announced that troy p's interception actually should have been an interception. they got ripped several times, but still came out on top anyway

www.denniskirk.com still lists them... they seem kind of high priced, DK usually is though.

maybe with an air hammer? or just keep pounding the shit out of it. i agree though, if you have it off, let it soak for a while first. if you get it out, a new bolt and bushings should be all you need. good luck.

the rear suspension looks like it would have a shock on each side of the swinger pretty rad a-arm set up too. hell, that whole ride looks sweet, really innovative. gotta love that #plate too. good find loco. is that your next ride?

i've been thinking about getting vf3's in the spring. changing the reeds and cages shouldn't require any other changes to be made, like jetting or anything should it?? i wouldn't think so.

i hope your just messin around, if not, obviously you're gonna get bashed for this one. hopefully you get the hint by now that it's not a part or item to be purchased, added, or modified. it's basically a term given to the peak output range of the engine. don't mind these guys, they eat this shit up, and they're just hackin on ya.

I have never jetted before should I even try?
MILO replied to 01bansheefox's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
i'd say do it yourself. search the jetting forum here for any questions or problems you may have, then if you still don't understand, post it here. the hq got me through my first jetting experience. check out this link too, it should help explain things. http://www.motocross.com/motoprof/moto/mcy...01/carb101.html -
no offense 6speed, but it could be the operator. shee's like to scream and if you're to easy on her, she'll choke on you instead. outside of that, mixing rich or jetting.

i've only had the stocker's and my pc's, but i can't complain about the pc's. i ride trails and open farm areas and they seem pretty good all around. the low end bog is pretty rare, mostly if you are really puttin around, but it's nothing that a little slip of the clutch won't fix. i like the look and sound of the pc's better than a lot of the others anyway, so i've never had a reason to try to switch yet. most guys recommended the pc's when i was asking about getting some for a fair mix of trails and open riding. most of the others seem to be a bottom end, or top end pipe, and pc's are a good mix of both.

i would imagine that the adjusters on top of the carbs would make it idle high, but it would probably be consistent, not rev then drop again. you need to make sure that the slides are in sync, and that the cables are not binding up at all, and that the slides bottom out when the throttle is released, then set the idle from there. the air screws should probably be 1.5-2 turns out. almost sounds like an airleak somewhere if you still have problems after that.

Crank case/ trans vent tube, please HELP
MILO replied to Hangit62's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
by 'plenty' i'm assuming you mean within the fill range, and not overfull. maybe you didn't let it all drain out, if you only needed to add a quart to fill it up again. don't know why else it would be puking out oil. maybe someone else will chime in with another possible explanation. -
why don't you try it out and let us know just kiddin bansheelover, i wouldn't advise it.

How to remove flywheel and clutch boss without spe
MILO replied to BakoBanshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
an impact is the ticket... but for getting it torqued properly, use something soft between the gears, like a wrag. it will bind it up enough that it won't turn and won't hurt anything. -
about 1200-1500ft - summer temps in pa - no lid with proflow foam, 360 mains, rest are stock settings.

to spend more time with my family (parents, sisters and families etc.) plan more events with my wife and kids to spend more time on my shee and cbr600 to leave work issues at work and enjoy my time off by doing all of the above looks like it's going to be a busy year!

i use the foam and it does work great for dust and mud, even with the lid off. just clean it frequently and it'll be cool.

why are so many people getting rid of the Banshee'
MILO replied to Danno's topic in General Banshee Discussion
MEDIA spreads the word fast and loud that the 2 stroke is soon to be history and the new and improved 4 strokes are the way of the future, and people buy it, literally. maybe it has something to do with all the hype that the next generation get shoved on them as well. it seems that those of us who are most familiar with the era of the banshee and 250r's for example, are the ones who are reluctant to give it up. even though i have a shee, my 15 year old nephew has no desire whatsoever to have one after his blaster. it's the yfz450 or nothing, banshee's are old school, and you can't be playing with old school toys, you have to have the latest and greatest. he's never even ridden a 450, but then again neither have i, especially after sitting on one in the shop, it just doesn't fit well. it feels like i'm back on a blaster again. i'll mod up my shee to meet or exceed all aspects of the new 4 strokes before wasting my $$ on one. -
my prayers were answered about 7wks ago with a healthy baby boy, by c-section due to being breached. we tried to have him turned but it didnt' work. he was only 2 days early, but nonetheless, is was very nerve-racking. especially watching the whole procedure being done. any 'complication' is tough to deal with emotionally and mentally, but trust in the Lord and he'll take care of you and your family to be.

yeah, i vaguely remember shit from all of those chemistry 1&2, and physics classes. a few months ago i found some of my old notebooks and scientific calculator with notecards with tons of formulas etc. it was kind of depressing, because it reminded me of how smart i used to be, and how much i've forgotten over the years. i can honestly say that i've forgotten more than some people have ever learned. i guess that's what happens when you don't use it anymore

of course air has weight. basically any substance known to man has been weighed and measured, and given an atomic mass. unless in a vacuum, or a total absence of gravity, there will be 'weight' to any substance. the weight of common air is so minute that you need a considerable amount compressed into a manageble container to notice any difference in weight, therefore within the range of an atv tire's inflation, it is insignificant and inflating/deflating has no purpose other than maintaining the structural integrity of the tire. i agree with the only reason for doing so for shipping purposes is safety related due to expansion/compression in different altitudes or temps, or simply to compress the tire to make a slightly smaller package. attempts for any other result just shows the amount of air in the person's head.

makes more sense to me than the shockwears. to bad they don't fit Works.

need a little more info here. was it running fine before it stalled out? almost sounds like you just need a good carb cleaning, or maybe air filter? if the plugs are new, make sure your getting spark to eliminate electrical issues before tearing into every electrical component. start with the simple things first. getting spark, getting fuel, carbs/filter clean, crossover tube in place, choke functioning properly, fouling plugs, bad reeds, loose/dirty connections etc. then if it still won't fire up, look a little deeper.
-
i'd try that before diving into the more complicated stuff, also make sure the crossover tube between the carbs is on.
