kicker rattles

My kickstarter has been rattling, and i wanted to know if any of you expierienced the same thing, my friend had a shee and the kicker rattled right off. so it must be a pretty common problem. I just wanted to know a quick way to fix it..

before you get some sh__ flung at ya you might try a search its the banshee death rattle and yes you will loose it eventually there is a mod for it if you did a search you can figure out who will do it and what it takes to do it!

Goto Ace Hardware, or something of the sort and buy a spring and ball bearing and rebuild it.

I found a really easy way to fix the rattle sound all you have to do is pick up some o-rings at the hardware store. I had to try a few diffrent sizes but once i found one that fit snug after i but it back together my rattle was gone.

Too bad Holyman isn't around he used to repair them and garauntee them to never rattle again. I had to buy a complete new one after i lost mine in the sand.

change the ball,little spring and get an o-ring slightly larger than the stockerI put a little powder graphite in with the spring so it won't wear as fast. .Theres rebuild kits on E-bay if interested.

I put a bunch of teflon tape around that shaft. Slide the new oring around it and then grease it up real good. Put engough teflon tape around t so it takes up all of the slop.

man get used to it all i did with mine was put a spring off of an old an old vaccumm that i had wrapped it around a couple of times and i havent heard a thing since.

CMon man, the rattle is cool, like a cowboys stirrups, ever see a cowboy tie zipties to his stirrups when he walks into the saloon, ready to start poppin everyone but the piano player?? Hells no, why? Cause the rattle is cool!

 

Actually i fixed mine with a small bungie cord. Lol.
