  1. Call customer service # from there web site. Tell them the chrome on the housing is flaking off. They will set you up with a RA #. Ship your light to them. they determin a repair. (dont think they can repair the pitting under the flaked chrome) They will send out new lights and pay for the shipping back.
  2. Trail tech replaced both lights at no charge. Took a couple weeks but happy with the outcome. So if your chrome is flaking off, send them back for replacements.
  3. anyone ever had to deal with custom service? Both my lights are starting to pit. They have a lifetime warranty on the housings. So far things seem to be going good. I just hope that it not just sounding good over the phone.

  6. I dont mind paying. Its the fact that the money dosnt go back to the mountian. Lets pay for new atvs, sandrails, and trucks. One of the boot bolts seems to be tapped croocked, but seals just fine and does not leak. i cant seem to get images to upload, i can email them. Im located in Roy ut. i would like to get 130 with both set of boots.

  16. Does anyone know were i can get just the carb tops. I have some stock carbs that need tops and a cable. they have idles screws in them already. I have seen some anodized one that were made i think by moose. but i can find them. Also does anyone know if there are replacement boots avaiable for boss billet one pice intakes. Was thinking that i could just get some to replace the 34mm one so that i can use stock carbs.
  17. I looking for the best price for some pwk carbs. I am thinking the 33mm pwk. I have thought about the 2-1 setup, but i dont know anything about them. My bike is dune ported with cpi pipes. Im thinking about going back to T5 just because i fill they performed better for my type of riding. So with that said, 33pwk seem like a good choice, or should i look into the 2-1 setup.
  18. anyone have any other view on this. Could these carbs be just to big for my app. Dune port cpi pipes, the riding that i do is dunning and trail riding.
  19. took the out of the stickyed post "troubleshooting your jetting". The pilot circuit can be adjusted while the bike is idling and then test run. If the engine is running poorly just off of idle, the pilot jet screw can be turned in or out to change the air-fuel mixture. If the screw is in the back of the carburetor, screwing it out will lean the mixture while screwing it in will richen it. If the adjustment screw is in the front of the carburetor, it will be the opposite. If turning the screw between one and two and a half doesn't have any affect, the pilot jet will have to be replaced with either a larger or smaller one. While adjusting the pilot screw, turn it 1/4 turn at a time and test run the bike between adjustments. Adjust the pilot circuit until the motorcycle runs cleanly off of idle with no hesitations or bogs. Screws on these carbs are more to the front side, so that would be screwed in is leaner.
  20. I have a set of 34mm tm mikuni carbs that are tapper bored to 36. Im haveing problems with the pilots. My bike will bog when your just out of the powerband. But it is close enough that it shoud hit it were i pit the throttle. I have worked all the way down to a 35 pilot. 30 is the smallest i can find. The only way i can get it to run good is have the screw bottomed out and backed out about a quarter. Cleans almost all the bog but still has alittle. My question is, should i get some small needle jets and try them. the main jet is good, mabe 1 or 2 sizes fat. Bike is dune ported on stock cyl with cpi pipes.
  21. I talked to the builder of my motor, said that my pilots were way to big. I did turn the air screw all the way in an cleared alot of the bog. What are some of you guys using for pilots in you 34mm mikunis.
  22. Im having some issues with my jetting. if im rolling in 1st or 2nd gear and pin the throttle it bogs so bad it would die. If i dump the clutch with high revs it fine, but will foul plugs quick. This sound like a rich or lean problem. Carbs are 34 mm taper bored to 36mm mikunis. Current jetting is 290 on the main, can rember the rest, cpi with a dune port.
  23. thanks loco. I will shorten them up and hide them as well
  24. There conected with a t between the back of the case and water pump, the open one just a vent?
