It has a fine platinum center electrode, and nickel alloy ground electrode. The electrode is recessed back up into the plug body. It is a resistor plug and designed specifically for the motorcycle/atv racing application. And the reason for the high price is that they are hand assembled in low quantity. Brad Quote
