  1. wow i thought i was the only one who did that, lol. i used to have different lists for different toys. one for the banshee, one for the jeep, and one for the sled. every part i wanted in the future. so far i didnt even really follow them and didnt even put a dent in any of them. good luck with the list but focus on school more i would say. wish i had done that...
  2. yeah i would definitely be asking him to pay for at least half the damages for being so stupid. ive only done something like that once on 1 of my sleds. we were coming up to a road that we cross to go into a field and you can see the traffic coming both ways and it was clear so i was ready to just keep going. my sisters boyfriend wanted to stop for some reason and check both ways even though he knew no traffic was coming. so he jammed on the brakes and locked up the track and i slid into the back of him after locking up my track as well. no damage to either sleds but i was pissed nonetheless. thank god we were only doing about 15 mph.
  3. i know i can get the front end up easy and im at just over 200 and thats sitting forward too. something must be wrong.
  4. let me know guys if you are going somewhere good and i'll be in for a little hq ride or something after i finish my rebuild. i wanna get a -1 for the trails and stuff around here too but thats a little ways away.
  5. haha, thats why they call us massholes. j/k, that sucks, always gotta be ruined by some prick. i would come up and join you, but 1, my shee is in pieces right now and i need a new set of cases. and 2, thats a far ride unless i was coming up for the whole weekend.
  6. ive been running 50:1 for over a year now and i just took the engine out to put new cases in and the top end looked perfect. i ran 24:1 because thats what the guy i bought it from told me to do and i was using the same jetting and same oil he was and for some reason i was replacing plugs after each ride. gets expensive changing plugs that much. switched to 50:1 maxima castor 927 and my top end looks fine and ive only had to replace the plugs twice since i changed over a year ago.
  7. hahaha, that is the best... buy another one ya rich motherfucka
  8. really good find. i want the snorkel and the roof rack for mine. thats next on my list of mods. if this works its a picture of my XJ from this past weekend. i didnt get any good action shots because i was alone.
  9. DAMN MAN, thats a big fuckin blunt, whats in it? i got a 30 of some haze last night and got stoned off my ass with some buddies and fooled around with this PR girl. good times, no pics tho.
  10. like that color a lot. put a 4.5" lift with some 33's with some nice rims and it would look amazing. hurry up and lift it and post some pics.
  11. exactly... the way it is right now and the way prices are for banshees around here i would only be able to sell it for $800 or so. so selling it is not an option. what am i gonna do with $800 once im in SC? never find a banshee for anywhere near that that runs. talked to my mom and she measured the door for the fence and its only 3 feet, so i need it about 2 feet wider and that would be perfect. i told her to run to lowes and check the prices for the supplies to do it yourself, and she hasnt gotten back to me. i guess a guy that does handy type work is putting in a water heater for her, so she said she is going to ask him how much he would charge to do it. also told her to go to lowes and check prices on those snap together sheds or something along those lines. still waiting to hear back from her.
  12. i guess its costs the gas station extra to have customers use their credit or debit cards. there was a gas station near where i used to work that you couldnt even use your debit or credit cards at the self service pump, only at the full service. they had a piece of paper over the slot where you swipe your card, and a letter that said something about it keeps the costs down for the station so they can charge lower prices for your gas purchase. guess it was true because that station always had at least 5 cents a gallon over the other stations in town.
  13. yeah i definitely dont wanna get rid of the banshee. i have too much into it, and its in too bad of shape right now to even be worth trying to sell it. i wanna keep it and keep building it little by little. i talked to my mom and she said that i can pay half for the fence. she is gonna measure the opening tmrw and call around to get some prices. one of those snap together sheds would be perfect for what i want, i'll have to look into one of those. i have other family down there, so i could keep it somewhere else when i got down there for a little while. but i dont have a trailer down there, my dad is keeping the one up here, which is one of the biggest reasons i didnt want a storage unit, because i dont have a way to transport the quad right now, not until i get down there and look at a small trailer. theres some trails and shit near my moms house, which is why i really wanna keep it there, so i can keep an eye on it for one, and i can gear up and roll out of the driveway and go to the trails, no messing with a trailer or any of that...
  14. alright, this is probably gonna be a long story but oh well. im moving to SC with my mom, soon hopefully, i wanna fix the banshee first before i move. i have a buddy up here that all he does is work on banshees, and i can get the parts and labor done by him for probably half the price of another place. so its saving me a lot of money in the long run. now when i get down there she has a fenced in yard, you pull into the driveway and the fence is right ahead of you, but there is a gate, a regular sized gate on a chain link type fence. i need adivce on where to keep my banshee or what to do about the situation. i thought about having a fence person come out and take that gate out and install/make a bigger one that the banshee will be able to ride through, like 4.5-5 feet wide, will probably look stupid but thats not the point. i dont really want to pay for a storage unit because my mom is already making me pay a bunch of bills which makes sense, but a storage unit fee on top of that monthly would kill me considering im thinking about college once i get down there. the next problem is after i get past the gate where should i keep it? the shed that she has is full of crap, the banshee would probably fit through the door but there is a push mower in there, shelves and other stuff. so i was thinking of building a little mini shed, like an extension off the one she has, just big enough to fit my tool box and my banshee. not bringing the shee down is not an option. my mom already told me last week maybe i should think about selling it and buying another one later on down there. my response was iwould you rather me bring my quad down or take up drugs? long story i know, but let me know all your opinions, ideas, comments, questions. thanks in advance, Chris
  15. i usually just use a larger amount than i know the gas can will use and then take the pump out of the can after i hit 5 gallons and put the extra few dollars in my jeep. works for me...
  16. i had a 1989 wrangler with the 4.2, and it had plenty of power, but was carbed. all the newer style stuff goes back to 1997 when they switched from the YJ to the TJ. so the years your looking for are 1997-2006. definitely look for the 4.0L engine, they run forever, have plenty of power to put bigger tires on, and they sound nice with an exhaust. i have a cherokee with the 4.0, and the only engine mods i have right now are an aftermarket air filter and a flowmaster cat-back system, and i can roast the 33" tires i have on it, so plenty of power. the 4 cyl. will get you around, but on hills and such you will have to keep the revs up, same if you put bigger tires on them. the 4 cyl. i think came with different gearing that gave them more torque from the factory, so if you get a 4 cyl. and lift it and put bigger tires the chances of you having to regear are slim. the Jeep forum i am on and have been on since i got my wrangler 3 years ago is www.Jeeps-Offroad.com. that site is the jeep equivalent to here, they have different sections for every different kind of jeeps. all the guys are nice over there and would be more than happy to help you with any questions.
  17. count me in... i could use some new pipes...
  18. im 19 as of tmrw, and ive worn glasses since around the 3rd grade, and ive always worn them while riding.. i have a pair of Scott goggles that have bigger padding i guess around the eyes for people with glasses so the goggles are more elevated off your face so it doesnt squish your lasses into your face while riding...
  19. to me its all about preference and loyalty, i have never had a problem with any of my sony products, i have a psp, ps1, ps2, and other sony products and to me they are top notch. everybody claims to be better than the other, i dont have any hard facts though, you gotta do some research.. for me though, i am a loyal sony person, i just might not buy the ps3 when it comes out, might wait to see if there is a 2nd generation a few months after... my cousin bought a 1st generation ps2, and has had problems ever since, he still has it, he has sent it to sony 4 times, each time they "fixed it" they even supposedly put a whole new system inside his shell, yet he still has problems, he has to take the shell off his ps2 to change games because the disc tray broke. i waited and bought a 2nd generation, and they fixed all the bugs, and my ps2 has accidentally fallen off a 4 foot tall entertainment center, sometimes people leave it on, and other shit happens to it, and mine still works flawlessly to this day...
  20. socom 3 was so much easier to me, i could barely beat Lt. Commander on socom 2, and i beat admiral on 3 within the first week of having it...
  21. i know it shouldnt matter, and im not sure i dont like them yet, i wanna install them and hook everything up and then decide, but im still interested...
  22. ok, last week i was searching dennis kirk, and i found some t2 bars, the whole kit, with the bars, bar pad, and clamp, for $88 and some change... well i jumped on it, thinking that they were universal, because on the page all it said was "atv bend" and it had the specs... well they just arrived and the invoice says raptor kit, and the bars say raptor on them under the tag logo in the middle, i put them on my bike to see how they looked anyways, and i dont know if its just me because i had msr dominator bars on there before, but they seem too long, the bend seems fine, but they are very long. so my question is, is it just me, or are they fine? and is the raptor style the same as the banshee style?
  23. yeah i agree, but not everywhere, its like florida, they have their own developments...
