Used just a handfull of times and is practically brand new because it was used with a lock up which doesnt let the clutch slip. Will hold around 100 wheel horsepower with six toomey springs. Passion said that the shearer chrome is not as nice as cpi chrome. He told me this about 6 months ago and things may be different now.

did you guys adjust your clutch like the service manual says? start the adjustment procedure from the begining and do it by the numbers.

thanks man its going to have the sled drivetrain clutch setup, so it will only have one gear and still have a top speed over 100mph. the sled is nasty sick fast from the factory on pump gas, so it will interesting to see what it does on alky.

I just picked up a 2002 mxz 800 snow mobile from an insurance company and the engine / drivetrain is going into a quad frame. the snow mobile is a theft recovery and has some damage, but the parts I am interested in are nice!

Hi Blake, The answer to your question depends heavily on how much money you want to spend. If I was going to do it all again I would pick me up a rolling chassis then get a longer swingarm. Then I would buy a drag race engine already built. I bought my banshee from the dealership new and have changed out almost every part on it, which is expensive and time consuming. You can get a good newer rolling chassis with title and everything except engine for around $1000. If you want an older one they go cheap, bout $450. Depending on how much power you want an engine will run from around $850 (stock), on up to 10 mil 100+ horsepower stroker $4000+. look around on ebay for more accuarte pricing, these are just prices that I remember seeing and they are subject to change.
