hotrodbanshee
I did a topend rebuild and had alot of carbon in the exhaust port. I am also getting alot of buildup in my exhaust pipes from running castor 927 @ 32:1 Should I run 40:1? Will that cut down on the carbon buildup? Also anyone running the Golden Spectro syn/blend? I read on the bottle where it can be mixed 52:1 and it says it burns clean and won't carbon up. Would that be a good choice?
SDD
I run full synthetic oils for this exact reason. I usually run MC-1 or HR-1 oils anywhere from 32-50:1 depending on what kind of mood I'm in. You will have to rejet to match the new oil ratio though so be prepared.
