Better hope for Sony's sake it doesn't work like beta max. I've read on some of the tech sites that Sony's piracy protection can potentially lock up a Blueray play and render it useless when an illegal disc is detected.

From what I've read Sony has really tightened up the piracy on the Blue Ray. I see Sams sells the add on HD-DVD player for $180 now if I only had an HD tv I'd buy one even comes with the $30 dvd remote so it doesn't seem to be a bad deal. I'm leaning towards a Wii over the PS3.

Maybe he's busy lobbying for an increase in minimum wage?

You can't hardly be arguing that fact can you? Two wrongs don't make a right. Kramer should have stood the higher ground, he didn't. As a comedian if he had a problem with the guy he should have humiliated him without insulting him. Nothing would have been better than Kramer getting everyone in the room laughing at the guy. Wit and intelligence are much more effective than hate and stupidity. What did cause Kramers rant anyway? What did the guy say?

I've seen them for sale at Scheels or any place that sells skiing/tubing stuff. Although I know there was a big uproar about them as many people have gotten hurt. I saw a news story about a kid that was learning to walk again after breaking his neck on one. They look like a blast but they can get pretty high and flip over in the air and as we all know you hit the water from 20 feet flat on your back it's gonna hurt. Funny this came up. I was just listening to the comedy channel on my xm yesterday and one of the comedians was talking about homeless people. The point he made was that if homeless people can't make it in the USA then they sure wouldn't be able to make it anywhere else. It takes effort to get and keep a job, some need to work harder at it than others but everybody has the same opportunities. The problem with the "hillside encampment" is that the property owner whomever it is private or public shouldn't have let the camp grow, as soon as it started it needed to be stopped.

You are the one who claims evolution and the big bang. As I remember my junior high science class they taught us that all living things came from a single cell so how come the elephant hasn't (or any other creature for that matter) evolved to build a shovel? Cats bury their shit too so they must be intelligent, probably just a couple generations behind humans right? I'm pointing out the difference between humans and animals, that difference is one of the big problems with the theory of evolution. As I pointed out 100 pages ago there is a logical error with complaining about the time frame for creation. It seems as though everybody who argues carbon dating disproves creation fails to realize that God wasn't held to any sort of rules in creation such as the age of a rock, if a rock was created by God then the "day" it was created would not determine it's lifespan. God could have easily created a rock a million years old as opposed to one that was 1 day old. Adam and Eve weren't created as newborns nor would have the other creatures he created.

Got GOW friday started playing it Saturday and passed the casual level on Sunday. Definately liked it enough to want to play through hardcore and insane but right now I've got 4 majors to win in Tiger '07 before I go back to GOW. GOW would be better if I had internet to play it on but it's fun the way it is.

Meat, notice the difference between you and the things Helldriver says... This thread has 2 things in it that keep me checking in on it. 1st The fact that people preach evolution but even scientists who spend their whole life studying it can't prove it. 2nd The fact that Helldriver is so intolerant of others beliefs. The level of insult he has shown against people of faith is absolutely disrespectful. The pictures he posted and things he brags about doing should be troubling to people no matter what their belief, even you'd have to admit that Meat. Is Helldriver somebody you could go hang out with?

You're right but that aside, it doesn't matter who did it. All that matters now is that we WIN.

Target has a special right now that if you buy GOW (regular version) you get a $10 gift card when you check out (thru 11/18/06). Is the limited edition worth the extra money or is it just like all the others, you get a book you never take the time to read and it just takes more space on the dvd rack?

It's impossible for a Banshee to take anybody for a ride. That's the point that everybody has been making to you but you don't realize it. You take the Banshee for a ride not the other way around. You could hire an illegal immigrant to wear a timex and follow you around for that kind of money. I had a Rolex, it had a continuos sweep and didn't tick, $35 on the street in DC. I dropped it getting ready for football practice and it hasn't worked since. The local rolex jeweler wanted $90 just to open it up and see what was wrong with it though so maybe it was stolen. :shrug:

But then again you won't see the bluray benefit unless you have a 1080p HD TV. Running Bluray on a regular tv is like detuning a cub motor.
