orion6781 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Because you have all those performance parts like the bumper, flag, and shock covers i would say you!!!!!!! Quote
Otis Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 A friend of mine said he got "smoked" by a banshee, goin up a hard packed dirt hill. Come to find out, his Definition of smoked is a bike length..... the only mods to his 450 are shaved front fenders and a slip on. I cant remember if he said the banshee was stock, or just piped.... anyway, it doesnt really answer your question, but.......... Quote
erbilabuc Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 the shock covers add style and horsepower so definitely you Quote
banshee76179 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 Depends on what color flag u got Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 are you running a skin graphic kit, if you are thats a easy 10 hp...... sounds like both you guys have a filter and a pipe, its gonna be a close one but i think teh 450 may have the advantage here Quote
Wassup350 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I think that if yours is tuned right it should beat it with the T-5s. Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 banshee will prevail. unless you just cant ride of course. Quote
die_infidel Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 I think it comes down to the rider and traction. If you know how to get a good holeshot and the right throttle/clutching/shifting you should do fine. Know where your shee's power range is at and keep it there. And a final key is RELAX your mind and race like your life depened on it. Also hope you get good traction since thats the #1 problem where a banshee fails. Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 The 450 will be slower out the hole but pull out in front when it hits 3rd but when you hit 5th it will all be yours out front. Quote
98bonerSTOCKshee Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 The 450 will be slower out the hole but pull out in front when it hits 3rd but when you hit 5th it will all be yours out front. yep..yep.. if you got the room.!
