  1. Looking to sell or trade my SST Turbine Core 2 (with spark arrestors) silencers for a set of silencers that will fit FMF Fatty's. Dont care what brand as long as they're direct fit, or i will sell out right for $130 obo. They're about 5 years old, but the bike has been in the garage most of its life so they havent been used much. PM or email r1otis@yahoo.com if interested. Located in Las Vegas, NV.
  2. Float height good (checked) and not sticking. Overflow not blocked (checked). I didnt even think about checking the crank. Thanks.. What's letting it into the pipes? any suggestions?
  3. What's up guys...man its been a while..look at all the changes..... Anyway... I did a top end rebuild a few months back and have had it out on a few short runs to break it in, but when i went to take it out last week she wouldnt start. It has spark, and fuel's flowing good. I checked the compression, and it seemed a little low. left side was 135, and right was 120. When i took it apart to take a look, there was fuel in the pipes (expansion chambers). 14oz in the left and 12oz in the right... I drained the fuel out of the pipes, kicked it over a few times to see if anything was coming out of the exhaust ports, but everything looked good. Gave the float bowl a few good knocks incase they were stuck, checked slides and then put everything back together, tried starting, and nothing... wouldnt start... Has anyone ever found fuel in their pipes? What could be causing this?? I'm sure its related to why it wont start but i am stumped... HELP!! thanks guys~ mods Noss Head 19c domes FAST Dune Port Fatty's 350main/25pilot riding ele 1000 ^

  15. Whats up guys... Its been a good run, but she needs to go.... I recently did a complete top end rebuild. so everything is new (dates next to all new parts) only to find out once i had it all back together that it had an air leak (carb boots i think but am not sure). Started the bike took it for a quick spin down the road and when i went to shut it off, it rev'd out (like it was way lean). No damage to anything though... So the bike is currently not running... I just dont have the time (or the patients) to work on it anymore I will take the head back off and get pics of the pistons if needed. Normal scratches (for an 8 year old bike) on the plastics, but no cracks or "floppy" fenders. Front fenders have been cut off. No rips or tears in the seat. The pipes have some bluing on them and black marks where my riding pants have touched them while hot, but no dents. <exhaust springs and o-rings are new (7/08) The chain and sprockets were new in Jan 08 and only have a few rides on them I have owned this bike since new (May 2000) and have the title (bought it in AZ) I love this bike, and hate to get rid of it but she needs to go.. I would rather sell locally and not have to ship, but i will if the buyer arranges and pays all shipping costs. I'm asking $2000.00 as is. any thing i might have left out or any questions feel free to ask. 702 813 1087 Chris List of Mods Pro Taper fat bars, 1" bar riser Shift star mod Lightened flywheel TORS removed K&N pods w/ Outerwears (new 7/08) FMF Fattys/PC2's Noss head w/ 19cc domes (new domes and O-rings 7/08) V-force 2 Reeds (new 7/08) F.A.S.T. 16. no, the bike doesnt start because the kick starter wont go through its full rotation like theres something blocking it from going all the way down. I tryed starting it by getting towed and then putting it into gear but the back wheels just locked up and drug across the sand. I'm thinking something grenaded in the tranny but havnt torn into it yet... just wondering if anyone else that has had this problem might be able to tell me what was wrong with their bike when it happened to them...
  17. Went to kick the bike over and the kick starter stops about half way down and and wont go any further. Also tried bump starting it (popped it in get while being towed back to camp) and the wheels locked up, Wouldnt turn at all.....is this a common symptom for a major problem? any suggestions on what might be the cause of the problem?

    Rear Sprocket Hub

I ended up just buying studs from the dealer... no longer need the hub...
  23. Hey thanks again for the heads up on getting it out. It came out almost too easy. Didnt have enough thread sticking out to get any nuts on the stud, and didnt have a torch handy but i did have a pair of channel locks and a bbq grill lighter. Weather or not the lighter actually helped i dont know, but i got the broken stud out. And for those wondering, its a regular thread (righty tighty).
