Coupelx Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Castor 927 mixed @ 32:1 but i run methanol, so its a little different for me. Castor 927 produces a lot of black goop through the entire exhaust system and in your cylinders. It smells good, but is pretty messy. You have to keep up on your end-of-ride cleaning or it will get nasty pretty quick. Its great with the methanol though. I can't stand the fruity smell of the klotz supertechniplate. I hate that shit. i loved the castor too but damn that goo is nasty. turns to concrete when it bakes on stuff. Quote

NoReGrEtSeE00 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I went to the local Racing / Speed Shop here in town, The guy told me that the only thing that he puts in his 2-stroke dirt bikes and Quads is RedLine Synthetic Oil 32:1....Been running that mix in the Shee for a bit now, No smoke or Fouling any plugs. Makes Hella Power! Anyone have any thoughts on RedLine? Quote

When i bought my banshee, i got some fresh liquids too, the guy at the shop near me suggested gear saver for gearbox oil and some yamalube for gas mix. I also got some new spark plugs. I'm thinking i'd like to try amsoil next time I have to get oil. Just wondering everyones preference on the forum i use castor 927 and castrol 10w30 for the tranny works great for me i got 4 years out of my top end. Quote
