D-man
whats the biggest you can get cc wise and the shee still be woods and trail worthy?
RagunCajun
IMO "trail worthy-ness" is decided by the power delivery not displacement.
BellicoseBanshee
I wouldn't limit yourself to cc parameters alone. There are many factors involved to make a good trail bike. In my mind, the most important thing to consider is installing complementing components (pipes, carbs, porting, reeds, timing, compression, etc.). You do not necessarily need a large cc engine to get good performance...
Koolguyson
Put a 4mm in it and put a trail port on it.
AKheathen
Put a 4mm in it and put a trail port on it. X2, stroke and lo-mid porting will keep you in the trail, and tecnical riding, when combined with the right parts
dragbanshee98
if you are goin on cc alone then i would say the sky is the limit... i believe it is 2001stroker that has the 535 cheetah trail bike, correct me if im wrong
2001Stroker
i believe it is 2001stroker that has the 535 cheetah trail bike, correct me if im wrong Yup. Cheetah Power Valve. 10mil, with 73mm bore. Someone else on here is building one, but I was told to keep it on the DL.

sled
I was gonna use a LA sleeve big bore kit with a 4mill crank. That would've been a nasty trail motor with stock jugs I think. But yeah i think it really depends on power delivery. It's all on how much money you got.
dajogejr
Just buy a 4 stroke... Ha ha ha ha... Just KIDDING. IMO...stock banshee cylinders done right with the right additions make the best trail motor for a banshee. To be honest, I'd spend more in suspension than motor work...the geometry and suspension are horrendous.
nashport_native
x2 dajogejr in stock from, the banshee already makes to much power for the stock arms, and shocks......brakes arn't that much better. dont get me wrong, I love my banshee, but i just came from a stock shocked 86 250r, and I am WAY slower on the banshee in the woods due to how bad it rides. but its a fact I am will to pay to fix, the r was fun but there is nothing like the feel and sound of the 350 twin!
