Just got my Wisdom Teeth removed

well i just got my wisom teeth out and it really wasnt all that bad, so far but im sure once the meds wear off itll be a differnet story.

Anybody have any tips for a speedy recovery??

make sure u keep the holes clean, they gave me a plastic syringe to squirt water into them every time u eat, make sure they are clean thats most important thing, and most importantly , save up some pain killers for later usage

yeah keep the holes clean. i think i had to gargle salty water or something like that, idk its been a while. you better hope the meds kick in before the pain does! i woke up while they were still doing mine. ouch!!! :verymad:

Yea, gargle salty water. Helps alot. You can't drink beer, cause of the yeast. You can drink liquor though. :biggrin:

Clean out the holes?? When I had mine done way back in the 80's they told me not to do anything that would cause the blood clot/scab to come out or I would get dry sockets. Of course they still used maggots and hot pokers back then... :yelrotflmao:

Really wasn't to bad considering the digging they did on me. I got up the next morning and went walleye fishing.

I couldn't take the pain killers because they F'd my stomach up. I just stayed drunk 24/7 for like 3 days after. i didn't hear anything about not drinking beer, thats all i was drinking. I made sure i kept the holes clean and washed my mouth with salt water. i was good to go after and few day. :biggrin:

I ate a steering wheel in the late 90's had all mine takin out got false ones now but anyways the only thing for the pain is alot of whiskey and alot more just keep it up until u pass out and when u wake up do it again unless u can get a morphine drip your hurting. salt water is just to keep it from getting infected the whiskey will keep it numb espically with some good pain pills. Goood luck on that

DON'T drink through a straw or suck on anything, it will cause you to get dry socket
