Very pretty bike, but it can be topped performance wise. He would be better off parting that thing. It's more of a show piece than anything else.

Hours of use I would guess around 100, but that may be a bit high. As far as I know this is the rebuildable one, although I can't guarantee it because I never tried to rebuild it.

Unfortunately, well built bikes go for a bout 30% more than stockers do whole. But you can get twice as much in parts. Part it out. It's kind of a pain in the ass, but the payback is worth it. If my wife would allow any more bikes here right now, I would definately buy it to part it out. Just my opinion.

That is where I got mine from. The tires themselves were right, but the bolt pattern of the rims were wrong(redrilled instead of sending them back.) His prices were hard to beat, but the accuracy of the orders left something to be desired. Check you order as soon as it gets to your house. I waited until the night before a ride and just broke out the drill.

Every time the site changes, I don't like it. Then I get used to it and forget what the old one even looked like. It will happen again on this one and I will have the same gripes with the next one.

I am a fan of slightly undercarbing a motor. I think it makes for better velocity, which translates to better response which in my opinion helps bottom end and midrange with a possible slight loss of extreme top end. My current motor seems to be most popular with 34-35mm carbs. I have a set of 32mm Lectrons on it that work better than any others I have tried.

I can't say anythinmg about the swingarm itself, but I have been riding with a -2 swingarm for a couple years now and would not go any longer for anything short of sand. I have even had mine at the dunes with it and except for getting out of the hole, it works great there too.

Yeah I know what it is, it's mine. I don't see why somebody couldn't just move the upper mount and run the same set up. The upper shock mount does get moved up and forward several inches. I never realized just how shitty the stock suspension is on a Banshee until i got this thing. As you can see from the picture, I beat the shit out of this thing and it has yet to do anything unpredictable at all. It actually gets smoother, the faster you go.

I rode one, they are actually nice. I may get one for the wife just for the ease of use. Myself, I thought it was a little boring and the suspension didn't really impress me that much. I would buy the YFZ450 first, but that's just me. Good luck, hate to see another turn to the dark side.
