  1. You will have no trouble pulling it on pavement, just make sure your jetting is spot on. High gears are like sand, the more a motor is lugged, the more it will expose a jetting flaw.
  2. Check out the price so far. RZ500 link

    no link?

I've got a 250R based Banshee with a no link reaer. PM me if you want pictures.
  4. I don't know if you were referring to my comment or not, but sending shocks in to get serviced/revalved/resprung usually takes much longer than you plan on. PEP is a very small company, so they don't have the turn around time of the bigger places. Elka is a good shock, but the company has had some teething problems. I have both on my quads. PEP Limited Mass Triples Elka quad rates
  5. I run some billet intakes, but to me they really are just for show. The boost bottle as was said above, useless. The reed spacers are a whole different issue. Reed spacers work, but they may not do what you want them to do. They give the crank case more volume which is good if that's what you need, because the trade off is less crank case pressure. They also space the carbs off the clutch arm well. But them you need to decide which side of the reeds will you run them on. Before the reed just pushes the carb back and gives you a slightly longer intake track. After the reeds affects the crank case.
  6. I agree. I would just have them built for the +2 arms from the start. The ride will be a little stiffer, but after the stockers it will still feel like riding on a cloud. You will save some money and time. Usually sending shocks in is not a quick ordeal. PEP took close to 2 months to get mine back to me and from what I hear Elka is slipping too.
  7. I can tell you that he is at the Redbud race this weekend. I've dealt with him a couple of times and it's always gone well. PM for anything else, I'm not posting everything in the thread.
  8. As far as I know it will. I bought it from a member on here (Meathead) and was told it's for a stock axle. I never used it. As always, if something as not as I said, I will gladly refund the money.
  9. One more try before Ebay, offers?

  11. Durablue hubs, good splines and threads. The are in nice shape, with some marks on the side that gets hidden by the wheels.

Could you send some pics to [email protected]
  13. For a fast trail pipe, I still say to go with a PTR. Which one would depend on what you are looking to get out of a pipe. The mids pull pretty much from right off idle to a pretty good top end. The High Revs, come on a little later, but pull longer on top. When I ran the mids, I just found that I short shifted a little sooner and let the low end torque of the pipes pull and could go just as fast as bikes with more topendy pipes. The pipes really have no hit, they just have a smotth pull the progressively gets stronger.
  14. I'd prefer to not let this topic die. I have been able to tune out most if not all of the hiccup, but it did take a switch to a larger carb also. I'd like to hear more about the reed spacers. I know what reed spacers do, my question would be when does the trade off of crank case volume overide crank case pressure? If there is more to be had from this motor, I would love to find it. I figured there are enough of these motors on here, that we can try just about every set-up to see what does and does not work.

Firemanhott had one for $800. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...0096&hl=blaster
  16. I couldn't have said it better.
  17. I'll take 20. Any chance you can get others?
  18. Are you looking for ALL stock parts?
  19. I've got Jeff's entire clutch set up in mine, no complaints at all.
  20. He was just being honest.
  21. That one is not for sale.
  22. GRR builds great stuff, no doubt. But, a pipe that helps all the way across the powerband just doesn't exist. There has to be a trade somewhere, low, mid, top, low/mid, mid/top. All pipes run great at a certain point. The trick is to find the one that is going to run the way you want it to at the RPM you want it to come to life at. PTR mids=low/mid CPI/Shearer/GRR+top(for inframes at least) 2:1=low Those are just a few options, good luck.
