  1. I for one, love the way my motor runs. I had issues with jetting, but I refuse to run anything bigger than a 32. I have mine pretty close and would probably have to get it on a dyno to dial it in anymore. I didn't want this to turn into this, I just thought we could use the information to get these things to run the way they should. Oh well, BHQ definately has a knack of doing these kinds of things.
  2. Yep, from Patriot Racing. I don't want anyone to take this as a bash to Jim's motors, it's not that at all. I was just wondering if the ports/spitback are what is causing us to have a hard time jetting the midrange on this thing? Maybe it's the nature of the beast and something I'll just learn to live with. If so, fine, I couldn't be happier with my motor. I just thought this may in some way tie into these motors and thought it was worth posting. Anyone that want to learn way more than I can ever comprehend should check out that thread on PS about crank case pressure. I figured enough of us have these motors on here to warrant this coming back from the grave.
  3. Sorry Chase, work has been nuts and I just plain forgot.
  4. I am not saying the ports don't work. I am just wondering if those ports are the reason we have been having a hard time jetting the midrange. M aybe at a certain RPM, we get this situation and it can be jetted around. My PV motor masks it quite a bit, but I know others have had this issue.
  5. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57983 These pipes are for sale.
  6. I had a great transaction with him aslo, highly recommended.
  7. You really only need the shaft and seal. It pretty much just sits there.
  8. The site looks pretty good. It just needs some tweaks. Sprocket prices didn't seem too bad until I checked out. Amount: $9.95 USD Shipping & Handling: $13.00 USD Total Amount: $22.95 USD If the prices are close, I will always spend my money with site members.
  9. I don't think anyone here is going to argue the fact that the Banshee has horrible suspension. We all love them for the motor. I don't know what this guy was thinking. He pretty much to a Jaguar and put an HT4100 motor in it. To me he got the worst of both worlds..
  10. I'm resurecting an old thread after reading some interesting, yet confusing to information about crank case volumes. I know there were some issues getting these motors jetted right, the question to me is why? Was it merely a jetting issues, was there something going on in the motor that we didn't account for? There is a discussion on PS about crank case vloumes, that made something click. Backcountry brought up something about Boyesen ports spitting back into the intake track that might have some merit to these motors. For those of you that don't know, he is "one" of the most knowledgable builders of Banshee motors I have talked to. Hopefully Jim can chime in here and at least dispell any ideas I have pertaining to this debate. The above comment was liberated from PS.
  11. You start this Premium Member perk shit after I let mine run out? Thanks I just didn't really get it. $30 to play video games? RNBrad's scores were so high I could play all day and only come in second. I still like that bike, you should have finished putting in the RZ motor, whole different beast. I am almost done with my newest transplant. 12 port 4mil RZ motor in an Outlaw chassis. Good luck with the part out.
  12. Do you have any pictures of it. They are quite a bit out of my price range new, so even the used one still may be. But pictures could help the sale.
  13. I have a set of ProCircuit pipes, Renthal bars, Air Boxes, +2+1 Jannsen MX-Tech A-arms, Sprockets, White and red Plastics.
  14. I think I have it all, I will check and get back to you in the morning.
  15. I've got it all. The basket has slight grooving, no gear on it. I have a few clutch covers.
  16. Those are the right ones.
  17. I think you still can. I actually have aset for sale. I don't think there is much to gain from the 3s, so the cheaper price of the 2s may be why some say to go with them.
  18. Yes, they will as long as you get the ones made for V-force. And no, I haven't.
  19. Glad you like it, looks better than it ever did when I owned it.
  20. It doesn't have to be a 250R. I know of a Banshee with long travel.
