  1. Mine is a Kodak 3.1mega pixel that I got for around $350. Takes great pics, but its a little trickey to use. Auto focus is a bitch sometimes, so I've had to learn how to trick it
  2. I'm with DLNoss on this one...don't have much time to do stuff. I have been bodybuilding for the last 8.75 years, and I also like playing Vice City. Mostly I just run over people in a semi to get out the days frusteration. I go shooting every couple of months.
  3. Honestly, I wouldn't run a -2 in the sand, but then again, I have never ran a shortnend swing arm, so I don't know how it reacts exactly. I run a stocker, and soon probably a +2 or +4. Sand hooks up really well. Almost like asphalt if the conditions are right.

  5. LOL I know someone that broke into a golf course about 3 years ago. They could have used black Banshee's instead of an old beater as a get away car. Anyways, yeah the black Banshee weighs less in the front, and the seat height is 2 inches lower. Also the pull back on the handle bars is like 4 inches.
  6. My Boyesens didn't come with that white thing either. I think it may go on TOP of the reeds as a tensioner of some sort.

  9. I have some parking brake block offs, front ressy covers, throttle caps (I know you got them, just throwing it out there) clutch side insert, hand grips, and foot pegs right now. I don't have stator covers or water pump covers yet.

  12. I'm with mcaf on this one. I had a customer at the shop on an R6 in the summer. When he left, he wasn't even full throttle, and the front end was lofting and he was gone!!! Light nimble bikes they are.....

  14. Its too damn much work here to have employees too. When ever we have had someone working in the shop we've had them get a business licence too. I hear what Deuce is saying. I am good friends with a guy that works in a sheet metal shop. We exchage work quite often, and most weeks, he's the reason I still have a place to shit. At his job, his boss is CONSTANTLY trying to f*ck him out of over time pay. Over 40 hours/week , instead of 8/day. Well most nights, this guy is working 12-16 hour days fixing a customers bakery or bottling plant, he tired around friday, and goes golfing. He brings that sheet metal shop nearly 2 million in work every year. He makes about twice what I make on the pay scale. If he was bringing in 2 mil to my shop, I'd see that he was making 100-150G, and no less. About the only perk he gets for his labor is a company truck that for some reason now has to be parked at the shop instead of his house, and a cell phone, that they keep close tabs on who he's calling. I understand that you start a business to make money, thats a given, but if you don't have happy employees, you get nothing but raw shit coming out of the door. Pride in your work makes for quality parts, and on time deliveries.

  17. LOL You could have stopped at Dealers don't know shit. WHY??? Why don't the people selling the product know ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING??? And its not just the dealerships I go to either.
  18. Naa it aint that bad. I have had nothing major go wrong on mine in 5 years. I always let it cool down after 10 -20 minutes of hard duning depending on the temp, and I always clean the air filter before every ride. I don't hold it revved out at all ever. I either shift up, or let off the gas. If it does start to boil over, pull it over immediately. Preventative maintanence is the key.
  19. I'm sure most paddles are fine for the sand. Like you said you're not drag racing, so you need something that will hook up but not hook up to the point that you bog. V bladed paddles are great for turning, but wont hook up quite as well and straight blade due to the time over area in the sand. (Since the blades are in a V, part of the paddle is not in the sand while other parts of it like the apex are in the sand) Straight paddles are 100% in the sand, so they hook better. I ran 20x10x10 8 paddles since day one. My buddy ran 20x10x8 9 paddles. He hooked so much better than me it was sick. I tried to get the same tire for my wifes bike, and the dumb f*ck at the dealer said, "Oh this bike isn't piped. It won't work with the 9 paddles" My buddies bike ran strong, was fast, but still duneable. When he added pipes they worked just fine too. You can also pump up the air pressure if its grabbing too much. I do that when its wet, or been raining or I want to shower sand over the top of a razor for a picture. I race at around 3-4lbs, and when I want that extra tire spin I go to as much as 6lbs. Air down, and you get more time over area, and they hook up great.

  21. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I plan on eating a lot. I hope to clear an entire pan of candied yams if things go as planned, and I hope to get out of work on friday and saturday, but.......
  22. You beat me by a few minutes Walt. Nyuk, how Walt described is exactly how my frame came from K&K ATV. Lots of cardboard "thingers" over the points that someone might come in contact with, and it was just sitting in the back of the UPS truck. $75 to ship to Utah from Massatuchests or however you spell it.
  23. Hey. All the stuff I polish, I sand 90degrees from the last direction I sanded. I start at around 180 grit on aluminum, then 220, then 320. Then I use tripoli on a ventilated flap wheel, then I use white rouge on a loose section wheel. Also keep in mind that if you view your work under flourecent lighting, you WILL see every scratch in it. I think it has something to do with the wavelength of the light. Look at it under incadecent or sunlight. You should see the familiar whispy lines that change as you move the part.
