building just about anything. i like tinkering around with shit. seein what i can make that might be useful in the shop. im extremely handy with a welder and torch/ plasma cutter. i guess thats how i came to have a cr500 in my banshee.

so all thats left is the threads?? is the top soild? if so this is what i would do. drill a hole in the top of it with a drill bit just under an eight inch. like a 3/32. drill it in very shallow. then take a #2 square head screw bit and tap it in. then put an extension on your drill and slide the #2 bit in the extension. then put in reverse and see if it will come out. ive done this to bolts before when easy outs werent on hand.

dammmnnn 45 bucks is rediculous. i bought one from rocky mountain it was like 15 bucks. i figure if it gets messed up or rounds off ill spend another 15 bucks. so far no problems tho.

could be a number of things. 1. bent rim or rims 2. tires out of balance 3. tire pressures are all different 4. bent a-arm check all these things and you can prolly determine what it is.

get some chains. if you have some steel wheels just weld them on. or you can get some tires and put about 400 screws in them. somewhere in the images section i have some pictures where i screwed a bunch of screws in a set of fast trekkers. im sure those would work for snow. bad thing about chains is that they weigh a lot and tend to slow your shit down. i can get you some pictures of how i have my chains if you want.

its a lot easier with 2 ppl. one to work the brake lever and one to open the bleeder valve. have a buddy help you.

with some a arms sets you have to reem the spindles. make sure they are ok like they are before you run them like that. most places that make a arms now have a standardized size for yamaha spindles. but i know that you used to have to get the spindles reemed.

i am looking for an aftermarket rear hub. anyone have any? whats the best? i was thinking lonestar cuz ive seen them advertised but i wanna make sure i get good ones. also ive seen the lonestars for like 160 bucks. is that for the pair or just one?? any info anyone can give me would be great!!!

i wouldnt think you would have to unless whoever does your porting hones your cylinders. i had mine ported and the guy honed the cylinder, so i just took it easy for a while. after that i was tearin ass.

17/40 thats huuge u front. i cant even imagine riding a banshee with a 17 tooth up front. most ive gone is whatever stock is.
