  1. wellll. i have used a propane heater and it wasnt too bad. they get hot quick and after a few minutes you can shut it off. the fumes arent too bad. i have also used a space heater. they use kerosene for a diesel/gas mix. they smell a little worse and heat quick. now we have a small wood burning stove. it takes a while to get it warm but it doesnt smell or anything. if you can go that route i would. just need wood then. otherwise just get an electric heater. might need a good size one tho.
  2. it can be done. you prolly need some kind of jig to hold everything in place. you also need to take your time. make sure all welds penetrate both sides very well. you dont wanna be riding and break one due to weak welds. if you arent very skilled at any kind of metal fabricating i wouldnt even attempt it. you are gonna need to know how to use a torch, welder and other tools. its not worth building a weak a-arm and having it break when you land off a jump.
  3. man i agree with everyone on this, but something boonman has said has caught my attention. he talks about how the case is bullshit and such. i really thought there was some kind of frivelous lawsuit law. maybe im wrong, but isnt it aimed towards lawsuits like the mcd's one where the coffee was hot? its rediculous to have someone judge a case in which they have no knowledge. a lawyer or judge that has no prior experience with atv's should not be allowed to represent or judge a case. this to me makes no sense. thats y we have so many bullshit laws and so many lawsuits about stupid things. people need to get all the information before they run their mouths about it.
  4. i think you can tap them in with a wooden mallet. definetely dont use a steel hammer on them. if you get the bearing started, you could try using a block of wood on top and hitting the block of wood. im not exactly sure about this process because ive never had to replace any. i would wait a little bit and see what everyone else has to say first.
  5. dont know much about the other stuff but get a Noss head. send dlnoss on here a pm. he can get you hooked up.
  6. take it easy for a while so you seat the rings ok. then let her rip!! its gonna be so much different than what you are used to. have fun man.
  7. i think its gonna be sweet man. cant wait to see the pictures of when its done.
  8. you need banchetta to help you. either send him a pm or just wait a little bit and you will get your answer.
  9. some people have to ruin it for everyone. stupid sumb bitch shoulda never been on an atv.
  10. definetely some classic rock. eagles, styx, van halen, led zep, u know the rest.
  11. i definetely think its a good low cost alternative to ims pegs. i know that i would never spend 200 on a set of pegs, but thats just me. only thing i would do is make them look al ittle cleaner. i can see how tho with a broken rib you just wanted to get them done. i say job well done. also i wouldnt be surprised if someone here wants a set of them. pretty good job.
  12. Agreed. also agree. you can have a ton of power, but if you cant get it to the ground in the corners and shit, what good is it?
  13. now u got the idea. thats the easiest, best way to do it as far as im concerned.
  14. do a search. there is more than one post about this. im sure you will find tons of info.
  15. that looks sweet man. how much you get it for?? its got plenty of space for all the banshee parts
  16. 12 year olds?? id say we are pushing 10 year olds max..
  17. i run DID x ring chains. they seem to last a long time. i run primary drive sprockets from RMATV. fronts are like 7 bucks and rears are about 15. they are cheap but i have had no problems with them. i can buy quite a few of those for the price of one expensive one. i say go for the primary drive, if you break one its really not much of a loss.
  18. ohh great. now we can all hear about how atvers should all take a training course and get certified to ride. sorry but all you guys under 16 will be riding lt80s and raptor 80s now. no but seriously, people like ozzy should set nowhere near any kind of vehicle that uses anything but man power to get moving. someone should build him a banshee that he can put his feet down and make go. its just another way for us to get screwed out ofp laces to ride and what not. especially since its gonna be on national tv.
  19. not to mention the durable uses a worthless ass lock nut deal on it. its a pian to get off and mine would alwayswork loose anyway. go with a lonestar for sure.
  20. there goes your weekend man. i had mine out 2 years ago. im 21 now. it shut me down. its not so much that it hurt, its just that your head feels like its been blown up like an over-inflated 4 wheeler tire. it sucked, but the gas they give u is fuuuunn.
  21. this is what i did. i just cut and welded a set on the back of mine. it works great. tons of room to stand on. i wouldnt trade them for anything.
  22. geeez boonman. you are absolutely horrible. but its funnier than shit. i was rollin thru most of those. i didnt realize that got1banshee got so much shit until today. i read a post from december and boy he was gettin it bad. there was a time wheni got some shit too. i dont know if anyone remembers or not, but wheni first signed up here i posted a comment about how callin a banshee a "shee" was queer sounding. man i got all kinds of shit. it was in the roostin room and i was just messin around one day. i dont think i came back for a looong time. but hey im back and i dont think theres anything wrong with me now
  23. i agree. dont run that thing with a scratch in the cylinder. if you do, youre just asking for trouble.
  24. i had eric gorr at forward motion port my cr500 cylinder and my brothers banshee cylinders. they turned out really good. his banshee is a runnin motherfucker now. my cr500 in my banshee has a ton more top end now. i think he did a really good job and hes reasonably priced. he did my brothers banshee cylinders for 225. have a look at his website. www.eric-gorr.com hes got a ton of info there.
