  1. never had any problems with my pro design. it was on my banshee for over a year, then we took it off and put it on my brothers, with the same o rings. then we pulled it back apart to have his cylinders ported and put it back on with the same o rings. maybe you have just had some bad luck.
  2. exactly what stan said. you will definetely not regret getting into it thats for sure. especially when you are pinned 6th gear drag racing, or climbing some steep ass hills. have fun.
  3. sounds like a fuckin grade school soap opera. are these kids even old enuf to ride?? i think someone should make up the decal about the banshee and post it up in their images forum. that would get a real rise out of them.
  4. not to go against anyones advice but try gearing down one tooth in the front. i think this will help you get to where you wanna be. gear down one tooth and you will be able to take off in higher gears, but still have the pipes to pull through the top end. i would really consider trying a 15 dollar gear first, then if that doesnt work maybe switch pipes.
  5. oh yes one of these days i will have me a son. he will be on a 4 wheeler before he can walk. i just hope i dont have a girl. what would i do with one of those?
  6. f*ck yea thats high. mine was about $300 a year full coverage with a $500 deductable. that was through shelter. 500 a year is too much. i would try some other companies.
  7. haha are you serious? i think it would have to have quite a few mods to beat a banshee.
  8. damn i would say that its time for a rebuild. that piston looks horrible. what the f*ck happened to it? that cant have just worn naturally.
  9. gear down one tooth, it will make all the difference in the world. i bet you wont even ntice that much of a top speed loss. if you are trail riding and hill climbing there is really no need to be able to run 80 mph. i had mine geared at 12/41. it was perfect. i had a set of toomeys on it and it still pulled really long and hard on the top even tho i had it geared way down. i like to have the lower gears rather than the higher ones. but again this all dependson what you do with it. if nothing else i would say go to a 13 tooth front sprocket. if you dont like it you are out about 15 bucks or so.
  10. my brother just has his toomeys powdercoated with heat temp paint. it leaves them glossy looking and they still look really good. before that he had like 1500 degree heat temp spray paint on them, it didnt work worth shit. i think if you are gonna be riding mud and shit that powdercoating is the way to go. cost him 70 bucks for sandblasting and coating.
  11. im not really sure how you would go about fixing that. maybe by havin smaller carbs on it because stock banshee carbs dont hit. would have a hydraulic clutch help? i say this just because i had one and i liked it alot better than the stock set up. i dont know if it would solve the problem or not. im guessin the only way to fix it is with smaller carbs.
  12. yea thats everything. actually i think it was 125 to powdercoat it and 25 or 30 to have it sandblasted. powdercoating is really reasonable because the guy here works out of his garage. he usually does work for ppl he knows and rides with.
  13. i am the supreme being with it comes to banshees. if you ever need your valves checked on your banshee come to me. if you ever need your head pipe cleaned up send it to me. if your push button start ever goes out just drop me a line. oh yea, if your reverse becomes a problem, i have a 5 page how to article on how to make your reverse a 7th gear..... jk
  14. possibly the idle? just a guess. i dont know what would be down there to mess with.
  15. let it warm up really well before you tear ass on them. remember its water cooled and if you dont let it warm up the piston will expand faster than the cylinders. this will cause major problems. i let mine warm up for a long time, especially when its reallly cold out.
  16. for the money it will cost you id say go forthe powdercoating. ity cant cost that much. around here you can get your whole frame done for about 150 bucks. powdercoating holds up so much better than spray paint its not even funny. i would go for the powdercoating. you wont regret it.
  17. banshees rule!! how can u really beat a banshee?
  18. the first week i had my predator i bent one of the rear stock rims. it bent the inside of the wheel. which i didnt quite understand how it happened. so i thought id just take it off and take a 10 pound sledge to it and beat it back. well i got to beating and found that them sum bitches are fuckin strong. i was like how the hell did i bend this shit. oh well got me some reinforced shit now, so no bending occurs
  19. f*ck the government!!! just kidding. at least we dont have some yahoo like suddam or bin laden runnin the country. we have good ol bush
  20. that site is sweet. i never noticed how much one of those swingarms looks like my eyeball swingarm. they are almost identical.
  21. yea dents blow. and so do autobody shops that cost a lot. thanks for all the tips guys!
  22. its not creased at all. it al gradually bends back. i dont think a plunger would work. its a bed side, its pretty stiff. i was thinkin of drillin a hole and makin something to pull it out. then weldin the hole up and repainting it. but im still wantin some ideas.
  23. im a dumbass and backed into one of our work trucks the other morning when it was dark out. put about a 1' by 1' dent the the bed by the bumper. does anyone know a good way to pull it back out without tearin too much up. its on the bedside by the tail light so i can kinda get back behind it, just not enough to hit it with a hammer. the autobody shop here wants 700 bucks to fix it and i think thats rediculous. if anyone has any good ideas could you please post them up. thanks, tyler
  24. go to your local car upholstry shop and have the make you one. i had mine recovered in black and it cost me $40. i didnt have to try and put it on myself or anything. and if something goes wrong with it they will fix it.
  25. i had a compaq one time. it was the last time too. it was the most worthless piece of shit computer i ever had. it would do stupid shit all the time. i lost more things on that computer that i have on all my others put together. i recommend finding a tall building, a video camera, and your computer. see what fun you can have with computers
