Which town is it that they have the permit for? The guy I talked to lives in Dixon which can be pretty remote and he said it is only good for gravel roads but my thing is if I could get some kind of permission from ANYWHERE I would be willing to try it out where I actually live in Illinois. He says they issue a sticker that you put on the quad. I've paid $15 for other stickers and if nothing else I at least have some documentation that's it's "streetable". the town is called Savannah, roughly 60 miles north of KC. couple thousand people. they paid 15 bucks and they get a sticker. its good for city streets and all. i wish we could do it here. id gear the banshees way up and ride them to town. if you hear anything else let me know. id be willing to go city hall and try and get it so we could ride them on the streets.

ok im gonna be putting it back together soon, hopefully first of next week or so. im gonna be running keihin 35mm pwk's, rocket pipes, v force reeds, the 12 port, and yes its a 4 mill stroker. im at 1000 ft about sea level. ill be running basically an air box with no lid, as im going to be makin an air box. i need it cuz i ride in the water quite often. any ideas on the jetting? blue duece and proquad i know you guys have thes engines, any suggestions? and i know banchetta has some great ideas. well, have at it guys. this used to say toomeys, but i just bought a set of rocket pipes.

ive never heard of that. theres a city about 10 miles north of me that allows quads on the streets with a special permit. thing is that you must be a resident of that city. i could ride the roads where i live since im out in the boonies. i would like ot be able to ride on the roads, if you hear anymore about it let me know. thanks.

i was researchin here a few weeks ago and i sent patriot an email and it took them 4 or 5 days to get back to me. that pretty much made my mind up about them. i understand they may be busy but if so they should have someone on top of things like that. i sent jim(PassionRE) a pm here one night and not an hour later he had already pmed me back. im sure ive annoyed the shit out of him cuz ive pmed him a million times with a million questions, but he always gets back to me within 24 hours. so my cylinders are at passion racing right now.

go tandem for sure. i have a single axle that i use for my mowing trailer and i hate it. it bounces around a lot, and it seams to weave a lot more than my tandem. if you are gonna have a lot of weight the tandem seems like insurance to me in case something breaks. its like havin a backup tire. i dont know, i just dont like singles very well.

ive got some tires i studded for my hillclimb. i run them on the cr500 banshee. i got mad hook up for sure in the dirt. if you stud a set of tires you will not slide on ice. they will grip like a sum bitch. i tried to do some power slides with mine on the 500 and it wouldnt go anywhere but straight. i use 1/2" sheet metal screws (not self tapping) in mine. you will need about 1/2" or more of tread to do it. ive run mine on the concrete and they dont wear. you can buy them in boxes of 100 at westlakes or lowes or other. i think i have like 200 or so screws in each of my turf tamers and i also have a set of fast trekkers with studs in them. i use those for winter snow riding and shit.

on my predator i had, i bent a .190 rim like the 1st week i had it. i used a 10 pound sledge to beat it back cuz a 2 pound sledge wouldnt touch it. i cant imagine the force it took to bend it. i dont even know how it happened. but yea, BFH is the way to go. i mean REALLY BIG FUCKIN HAMMER.

i heard MULLET~BOY pipes were the best. on a stock engine i heard theyll give you right around 74 rwhp and 112 ft pounds of torque. bad thing about them is they are only prototype ones right now and theyll run you about 900 bucks for the set of pipes and silencers. well worth the money tho for the output of power.

can you cut and weld yourself?? if so i would recommend going with Cotton Eyed Joe's carrier kit he sells. it comes with a roundhouse carrier tube, the aluminum carrier, pinch tubes with bolts, and caliper plate. if you are interested id just send him a pm, it will save you a ton of money and be just as good as an aftermarket swinger. i did mine a few months ago and have pounded the shit out of it, no problems whatsoever. you can see what i did, i cut out the stock area where the carrier goes a little more, and this carrier tube fit right in. very simple, and very strong. in your case, youd have to extend it, then put the carrier in. my stock skidplate still fits too.

thanks for the stickers man! they look sweet. im having a really hard time trying to figure out what to put them on tho. if i would have thought about it i would have gotten a white one and put it on my back window of my truck. oh well, im gonna find a good home for these. lemme know if you ever need something.

that is 100% true. guys who are really badasses avoid confrontation if at all possible. but when the time comes, they can open up a can of whoop ass and show you who is the man. guys that run around bragging about how bad they are and talk about how many people theyve whooped are the first ones to run from a fight or get their asses kicked. ive seen this a ton of times.
