because porting out the windows of the pistons severely decreases piston life. the pistons skirts can crack very easily. thats why you dont hear of many people doing it. i personally would never run anything but a wiseco piston. i dont give a shit if vitos pistons are really wisecos. i still would buy wiseco.

he posted here a week or so ago and said that he was back on track. check the suspension forum for some posts by him.

that was in this months dirtwheels i think...nice bike but i cant imagine what it cost to be built.. he will never get back out of it what hes got in it im sure.

outerwares are junk. i used to run one on my banshee and one day it started runnin like shit. pulled the outerware off and it ran fine. fuckin thing barely had any dirt on it. i ditched it and never ran once since unless im in the sand.

ive got a 4mm cub setup with v force reeds, 35mm pwk, rockets and it fuckin rips. im guessin right around 90 hp and prolly about 50 ft lbs of torque. this thing has tons of power. i wouldnt recommend it for trail riding but wide open dunes and fields im sure itd perform well..i run 15/41 gearing for my hillclimbs but it will easily pull higher gearing for other applications.

on my 4mm setup my rockets made 3 more ft lbs of torque than cpi. they also came on sooner and pulled harder. dyno sheet is on the rocket website. like i stated above, on some setups they will outperform many pipes on the bottom. mine made more than cpi, and id be willing to bet on that same setup would make more than shearers. im not saying that cpi or shearers are bad pipes, because they arent. just that rockets will more than likely have more bottom end than either of them. i believe it for sure. plus you get the top end... www.eric-gorr.com he does a very nice woods port for 250 bucks. it seriously rips. with t5's, v force reeds and smaller domes my brothers old setup was insane for the trails. instant power that came on around 4000rpm peaking around 9000rpm. talk to jeff about his playport. i am not experienced with it but if jeff's doin it im sure itll rip. im guessing hell port it to make power down low as opposed to up high.

i agree. lightning the flywheel will kill your bottom end even more. noss head with 20cc domes, advance timing and v force will make a huge difference. if you wanna feel more power without actually making anymore you can gear it down some. i personally would go with a woods port and youll have tons of low end. eric gorr does an excellent one for about 250 bucks...

all you need is gears and you can run any pipe out there. rockets will be fine on the mx track once your bike is geared properly. and all them suckers runnin pt mids that quitm aking power at 8000rpm will be sorry when youre blasting by at 10 grand...
