It's never going to shift under a load with the stiff springs and lockup. You don't really need the stiff springs with the lockup. Put some OEM springs in it and see if that helps the issue.

You're making just enough power now that it's going to be difficult to shift it. What clutch springs are in it? Does it have a lockup? All JJA axles are 40mm. The play axle is 34” long.

This is a 34" play axle. You can shed about 10 pounds of rotating weight this way, which is like adding power. As long as you're not bombing it off jumps (I have many times), it's a very good upgrade.

How much would you need to trim to accommodate tire growth? You will lose some RPM by shortening the stingers. They are that length for a reason. Why stock length? Buy a +2 arm and solve all your problems.
