so did you get some pictures of it all together? i think it was a pretty cool idea, and much better than those wack craptor fenders. ha. it looked like you had a pretty clean install goin. i didnt wanna search thru 14 pages so ifu have some pics of it, post them up..

i changed it because i did away with all the stock EFI and electronics.. went with the carbs so i had to make an ignition work. it was kinda a pain in the ass havin to figure out the best way to do it. the frame wasnt too bad. the lower frame rails came out, then i set the motor in and built the lower rails back around the motor..turned out pretty nice.

built the gas tank myself... this is how i switched overto carbs..had to build an ignition system from scratch. i use a dyna 2000 ignition and i had to have the pieces made to attach to the crank... frame after modding mock up.

only if you use a spacer plate, which i wouldnt recommend. yes stock carbs can handle a stroker, but for full potential 33, 35 or 39mm carbs would need to be used. i dont personally think you need a 4mm for woods riding, but if you go that route have it done right and either get new jugs and have them ported or have the existing porting redone to work with the stroker setup. -
yes ive done it. 600rr motor in raptor frame. yfz450 frame is not nearly tall enough to fit the motor and the EFI without cutting the frame damn near in half or building your own EFI system.. the raptor is gonna be the easiest one to use. i dont run EFI on mine and its still a tight fit..

craptor or ds650 will need the least modification.

outframes are for drag setups. they are supposed to make a little more power than inframes. you can get outframes silenced or unsilenced. if youre not strictly dragging i wouldnt get them. you can get inframe drag pipes like cpi, shearer or rockets.. for outframes id prolly pick GRR suicide pipes or shearers.

i use some yamabond on mine and double nut them. tighten them down till they tight..thats all ive ever done on prolly 3 or 4 different sets of cylinders now. no issues yet. -
id prolly go with 33mm.. they will work well with stock stroke and 4mm if you ever go that route..

ahh yea, hell you never know. thats whats so fuckin great about banshees. a little 350 can run just as fast as a 20mm bike. just depends on setup. i have heard on several occasions from a couple different builders that stock carbs have enough flow for stock and even some ported motors. if i were him, id personally skip the carbs and have it ported..simply because i do believe that the stock carbs will flow well enough for the porting. then later on snatch up some bigger carbs and gain some more performance. either way, he will gain..

i really doubt your skidplate will still cover the linkage. when they extend the swingarms they extend them from the shock mount back. so everything will move back 2 inches. so im guessing your skidplate will be off 2 inches from where it would be on a stock length swingarm. as for the +2 and handling, i doubt you will notice much if any difference. i run a +6 and i can whip my bike around just like a stock one. once you go past +6 you will def start to lose handling though. it will help keep your front end down though.

for tires i would run stock yfz450 tires or kenda knarlys. i have tried every dirt tire out there and have found these 2 to perform the best in most applications. they hook harder and last longer than the rest, not to mention are cheaper. as for your mods, porting is going to make the biggest difference so i would suggest saving up and have some porting done. i see no point in going from a 26mm carb setup to 28mm. if youre gonna buy carbs might as well get some 33mm pwk. they will work well with a ported setup and if you ever decide to go with a stroker motor youll already have carbs thatll work.

that was a badass fight. looks like fedor neutralized that left kick pretty well.. fedor was def controlling that fight standing up and on the ground. i watched a tv show on pride one time and they were talkin like fedor might be the baddest dude in pride fighting...

i cut the harness open and got rid of all the tors stuff first. once you get all that shit off hook it up to your bike and start cuttin. see what you need and what you dont. i got rid of all the lights and everything. i think my harness is 4 wires. i also rigged up a kill switch wire with a plug i cut off the factory shit. i have no on/off button or light switch anymore. just a pro design kill switch. its the only way to kill the bike. clymers manual will help you a lot if you have one.. word up.

im ready to see some good fight in 2007. this year wasnt too bad, but im lookin for them to be even better next year. there are some badass fighters out there that havent got the recognition they should. hopefully comin to UFC theyll get to show who is the baddest. i dont see anyone in UFC handling cro cop anytime soon. sylvia?? please. he will get stomped. what class is anderson silva in? that would be a good matchup of leg power i think. but id prolly have to give cro cop a little in the strength and power department. oh well, we shall soon see..

yea that dude appears to be a bad motherfucker.. wonder who he will have to fight first in order to get a shot at the belt? whoever they are i feel sorry for them. and to put that guy in the ring with liddell would be a joke. liddel wouldnt stand a chance against that kick, not to mention punching power. ive seen that guy in the end fight too, and hes no joke either..wonder if cro cop will fight him..
