I ended up getting the black widows.... and just got them in this week. Of course they came while i was out of town. So i'll post some pics when i get home and see the new babies. I got to excited with the arms and just bolted them right on.

i agrre also.... just got mine this last month and love it.... looks great and everything you could want is there. LOVE IT

You have to pull the C-clip, then the gear. Once they are out of the way you will see the pin that slides out, remove that and some washers if i'm not mistaken. Then the whole shaft removes, and just reverse the whole process for install. The gear is sloted like a plus sign (+) on the back so that pin fits in there and won't fall out. Acting like a key in a keyway also so that the shaft turns. Hope that helps.

NP..if i wasn't to lazy to just go reregister... i would sell you one.... but i always have it in the back of my mind to cut it up for a crotch rocket motor. Good luck

Let plan something... it is a 11 hour drive for me and i would really love to go there... but don't know all the specifics. Other then i read about sparks and noise. All the rest of the stickers and passes needed is new to me. But i would love to go. But need a timeframe to take vacation from work. It would be a weekend thing if i go. Might as well make the best of it when i go. Thanks

Yeah... i'm hopeing to be in town for the quadfest..... depends on if work feels like sending me out of town in that timeframe. But i'm hopeing not. Be able to bring the new l ooking shee out. Can't wait.

Just want to get a starting point for tuning. Here is what i have. T-5's, head shaved, 28mm keihin (spelling), UM performance aibox that is open on top, K&N filter, and the lovely boost bottle.... can't forget about that, boysen reeds, and that should be about all effecting jetting. thanks.

becarfull with that spare fuel tank. My buddy strapped one to his 250R once, and while playing in the sand, it ruptured and got gas in his eyes. At the end of the day he didn't even need to bring it. Just a heads up.

I was looking at the requirement for sound and spark arrestors..... what's the deal... They test everyone and you need spark arrestors, or it is a once and a while test. Never been there and sounds fun.

2.5 inch is the airbox inlet....the stock boots fit from carb to airbox with stock carbs... but i got new 28mm carbs and the stock boots between the carbs and airbox won't fit over the outlet of the new carbs. so that's my problem.

i have a '94 frame and +2+1 leagers. Need new ball joints for arms. In lower PA.

i thought of that..... but how do you get the half inch diffrence? That's a lot of streching for a hose... and a real pain in my ass to make it do that. Thanks for the idea.

Anyone know where to get custom carb to airbox boots? I'm trying to get them for a 2" on one side to 2.5" on the other. Thanks for the help.

i hate to sayi use anything honda.... but the stock 250r ohtsu (spelling) tires works great. Great for most all things. I haven't had much use in pure sand with them, if that's what you are using them for. But for everything else they have worked great.

I wouldn't mind getting my hand on some of those either....

the sample was free... i didn't even call them.. just contacted them through e-mail and gave them my address. They wrote back and asked the size i was interedted in, and what i was trying to do. I wrote them back explained i wanted to use it on my quad for radiator and needed high temp stuff... the link brings you to the name of the stuff and ask for a sample of it. That easy. And for free... all you have to do if it starts to get cloudy... is call from your friends house and have a sample shipped there for you... FREE CLEAR HOSES.

We need the rule where if you are caught stealing they cut off your hand. That would cure a lot of the stealing i think.
