  7. Anyone know of a site or someplace to decode banshee VIN's?? All i really want is how to tell the year off of the VIN. If anyone knows how to tell right off hand i would love to know. Thanks.
  8. DAMMMMM wish i had heard of this earlier..... right now i'm in the process of redoing two shees. And i have always wanted to go out to the dunes. What is the lodging situation?? Take your own camping stuff or got some setup going for that too?? But next year if we do this, i'm definetly taking time off.
  9. thanks for the info... I didn't thinnk that the cast billet thing would be much of a big deal. Now i know to go ahead and get my plate. Thanks
  10. Question about the plate itself. Once installed are you able to adjust it without having to take it all back apart? I was playing around and found this one http://www.bluetraxx.com/review_statorplate.htm Also, the ricky stator one is a cast unit, any weight /fit problems with that compared to billet ones? Thanks
  11. Sorry for the stupidity. After i had posted i thought dumbass, just search for it. But if you feel like posting again go right ahead. Or if you just feel like ripping a new one, that is fine too.
  12. Anyone out there have one that they can give details one or know of someone making on for the shee??
  13. I'm looking for a close to stock or mild banshee for my little brother. I had one for 1500 but sold out from under me. Looking to spend the same price range. Thanks for the help
  14. It says FS/FT. I see what you want to trade it for. What price range are you talking about?
  15. I have stock carbs i'd be willing to put towards the trade. Give me a price range that you are trying to get with the trade.
  16. Just my two cents... but you might not be able to. Just a question of whether the two master cylinders put out the same amount of PSI. You have to think that your front master on the bars is running two calipers, and your rear master is only running one. So just by those numbers you would probably be able to run the rear with the front master, but running the front with the rear master may not work. It may not provide enough clamping action to actually work. It may provide enough to work the pistons in the caliper, but enough clamping force probably won't be there. Just something to think about.
  17. thanks guys.... very helpfull information. I'll have to take all that into consideration before i go jumping the gun.
  18. What are you looking for in trade??? I'm not currently in NY, but from upstate and still have family there i go and see. Just wondering what kinda trade you where looking for?? Thanks
  19. Just wondering what the stock carb size is? Wondering what size to go to for aftermarket carbs!! What i have is T-5's, .030 bore, Open top airbox, K&N, Toomey alum radiator. Looking at getting port job and cool head. What would be a rough MM size to look for with this. Thanks for the help. Jon
  20. Sorry this is late.... but taking advantage of my holiday off... I am proud and happy to serve for you all. I'm glad to see that some poeple still remember what 'we' do. THANKS
  21. who carries the moded stars??
  22. Thanks for the help. I have a new frame and arms so the problem is going to be fixed this winter during downtime. What shoudl the chamber be set for? Is there a specific setting or just parallel to the ground? Thanks for the help and your time.
  23. interested in the UFO plastics.... Pric to PA, 17268. shipped?
  24. A quick question for all the technical poeple here. I have a '94 shee that i bought wrecked. Put some parts on on it and had i going again. My persistent problem is that the front tires don't sit parallel to the ground. Now that it was wrecked it thought swinger or a-arms bent? No problem, bought a round style swinger, then got OEM a-arms. Still the same problem. Now the only thing i can think is that the frame is tweaked just enought that the fronts won't sit right. If anyone can think of something else to look at that i hven't thought of yet would be great. Thanks for the help in advance.
