Your woodriff (sp) key could be broken in half.... letting the flywheel spin. But that doen't really explain why it is moving with the nut. But something to think about.

I was at the parts shop and saw that they had Vp 112 race gase there. Interested for mixing... looked at the price and they wanted 55 bones for 5 gallons. That's 10 bucks per gallon!!!! I got it once at the strip and it was 110 for like 5 bucks a gallon... but that was a few years back. Where and what do you all pay for race gas... and octan if that matters??

all right..found my problem.... when i redid the shee... i took the conector ends out of the sockets to get heat shrink over the wires.... when i put the connector back together for the lights and stop switch got two crossed. I'm a dumbass i know... but thanks for the headsup on possible prolems.

i don't know what to say... i didn't even talk to anyone, just wrote an e-mail to them and they passed it around to some people and asked for my address and they size that i would like. Maybe they got sick of giving free samples out??

OK... with the stator completely off the shee... off from the timing plate. I have a short between the yellow wire and the center of the stator. That shouldn't be correct? Please help with any inputs. Just talked to RS about that stator... they confirm that the yellow and black from the stator are shorted... or electrically the same point... so back to the hunt for the problem with my lights.

Dammit... as soon as my seat gets back... i'm going to hook up with you guys so i can get some riding in.... haven't been able to find anywhere around me yet to even tune. So i'm dieing over here.

Got the diagram.... just trying to confirm. I didn't think so... but with it bolted up and all... testing from the black and yellow at the top of the motor... electrically the same point. Or grounded together... i will further investigate... but got to be somewhere else at the moment. Update later. Thanks.

Question.... is the stator that controls the lights... yellow and black.. suppose to be grounded together?? I think i have found my problem if that isn't suppose to be like that. If not... back to chasing wires... again

I checked voltage at the headlight and tailight... Not a thing. I think that my regulator is just shunting it all to ground. When i checked it at the conectors right off the stator... it did the jumping as RPMs went up. But it should, that's what the voltage regulator is for.

JAZZ motorsports.... just got a set of UFO's off there. a front and rear set for 256 roughly... can't remember exact, but close to that. Shipped fast too.. ordered monday, had them friday.
