I have pictures of DMs with custom heads and also ported water jackets.
I looked into this, and also cooling changes before i sold my most recent DM cylinders. I talked to a LOT of builders on here and not. The RZ street bike/aprilla guys have been doing this shit for years with the DM/SS cylinders. If you go on those forums you'll find a fuck ton more information then here on it.
Below is a forum that has information on cooling of banshee based cylinders, just used in a motorcycle chassis. These guys have a TON of information on this shit. My profile wont let me search far enough back to my post on cooling a DM. I THINK I had some links/photos there (EDIT thread is deleted).

Just looked, basically nothing on there is stock besides a few things. And even so, that bike as it sits is NOT worth $6500. Again, you can ask whatever you want, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Way more? Absolutely not. You can adjust my price a couple grand and that would be OK
It's an ATV, not a classic Ferrari or a vintage painting. Literally hundreds of thousands of these things were made. Sure, a guy can list one for $14,000USD and I'm sure there's definitely an idiot out there who'd probably pay it. But this isn't something that's going to go up in value.
That’s absolutely ridiculous. If a builder makes you buy new cases you need a new builder Anyways. Good luck on this! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sure, there really isn't a benefit as long as your stock stuff was in good condition. But it's cheap and if you're already in there it's not a bad idea. No you do not need a metal gear.
All of those are good. I always like Direct Drive, but Mattoon is good stuff too!
IMO the worst way to contact and ATV or performance shop is by email. Just call or FB message. You aren’t the first guy who doesn’t speak perfect English they’ve dealt with. Shit the dumb fucks from the south us normal Americans can barely understand but we deal with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There's a builder who did a comparison. They actually found 4" filters made the same power as 10". I can't remember who did it, but I remember seeing it on here.
Wow, I'm amazing only in 2nd gear that much damage could occur.
I local welding shop could help with the pipe I'd assume. They can cap the ends then blow some compressed air in
Everything else I'd buy new, the a-arm stuff call Roll Design.
Did you ever think maybe they do this as a financial opportunity?
You will not gain value, aftermarket parts don't add much to these things that are already worth little. And with stock arms you won't see much improvement
Like I said, buy new or save up money and buy a used setup from a reputable member
Rebuilt every season?!!??!
Come on, that's excessive. I have shocks that are 20 years old on some machines that haven't been touched, and that includes 14 year old air shocks that have never had a seal replaced.
Being Works is now out of business I'd stick with someone who is still in business. Sure places still have parts, but those are going to need some work. You'll need to put $3-400 into those. You can buy new Floats for close to that
