  1. AMEN!!!!!
  2. I know I am the man, but jeesh!!! ANyways, I didn't post the post you quoted. That was my bro BenBB. Get it straight junior!!!! And WHile I like when people agree with me, But my man Benny was the individual with the comical post this time!!!!! 370, thanks though!!
  3. You can get any size tire you want in a 9" wheel. For strictly snow and mud, 22" mud sharks would be a wise choice. Or a set of realtors. You will like the extra clearance provided by the 22" tires. I run 20" tamers or holeshots. In the snow, I run paddles.
  4. Well, not quite as well as you do!!!! A certain line from the movie "Full Metal Jacket comes to mind!!!! From a certain drill instructor I remember so vividly!!
  5. You are one sick mutha. And somehow I knew that was gonna happen!!!! And the answer is no. Not in that respect.... Oh boy, here we go........
  6. Noss heads use factory studs. others don't. I don't know about Trinity's though. However, I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from Trinity. They are too commercialized....
  7. I run Super techniplate in my bike, and I let it idle ALOT. I have NEVER fouled a plug. not once. They are never black either.
  8. I am running a "special damper". I made it myself. I ordered a gas spring, (adjustable of course) from McMaster Carr wharehouse, and put it on. I also had put provisions on the steering stem I made for the damper, and it works beautifully. But I hear the Denton's are nice. I had some prior knowledge that I believe carried over from the streetbike world...
  9. I would put a spray or two of WD in the cylinders, but with a 2 stroke, you don't have to worry to much, there is oil in the fuel!!!!!!!!
  10. Yes, switching the hubs would be the way to do it. However, you are limiting yourself to two production years for that pattern, and a limited availability of wheels. It would be Cheaper, and if not, more logical to just get some new wheels.
  11. You need to pull the carbs off and clean them ASAP!!! the flow you speak of sounds like a stuck float, or defective needle valve, (which the float operates). this is what shuts off the fuel flow into the float bowl, which feeds your jets fuel. Also, I am suspect that you may have a bad crank seal on the right side. You said the smoke is very heavy. What does it smell like? What does the plug look like on that side? but, first things first, pull the carb(s) off and clean them out.
  12. I wouldn't think so, but an air leak would...
  13. I use a KAL Equipment. Thing is sweet, and the kit has every fitting you could ever need. It goes in without taking the tank off, and works perfectly. I got mine from Grainger, but I imagine it can be found elsewhere. www.grainger.com, part # 3T063. $112.24 I got mine on sale though.... Works splendidly!!! And the snap on one is a good guage too. My vacuum tester is a Kal as well.
  14. 40:1 Klotz Super Techniplate. Never a problem. I love it. I have 3 gallons on the shelf.
  15. I used to get my stuff from Moto-man.com always had good prices, and got the stuff to you in a day. I liked them....
  16. Hopefully these may help you out a little. And yes, my tank is rated at 5.6 Evil, and it holds like 6. In this last pic, you can see my handlebar mods, and the others show the stem pretty decent. I made my own stem, the whole thing, and I also made an aluminum plate, which can be seen in this last pic, that moves the bars forward almost 2". I had to heat up the tank, right near the top with a heat gun, and mold it so that the stem wouldn't contact it. My stem is also about 2" longer than stock. So, if you are running a stock stem, and 7/8" bars with no "funny business" you should be alright...
  17. From what I have seen first hand, stock for stock, a shee and a 450, the 450 will waste the shee. I was neck and neck (dead even) with my shee and a piped 450 at the drags. I did have a slight problem with traction, but the 450's are about as fast and good as it gets out of the box. My vote goes to the 450 for sure.
  18. AMEN brotha!!!!!!!! A F'n MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I suck!!!!
  19. I am unsure Weaty!!! I am beginning to wonder myself....
  20. I would like to try Bosch. I run them in the truck..... But for rightn ow, I have a box of NGK's, that I keep for my friends. because for some reason, I don't foul plugs....
  21. Well, I don't eat sweets, but I want a helping of this cake. Wait a minute, I want the whole damned thing!!! One of them big triple decker wedding style cakes!!! The HUGE ones!!! And, well, you know the rest Jim. I will be in touch with you again when the time comes......
  22. I have been running the wheels like that for over a year. No problems yet. And I also run a steering damper, so no wierd kicks in the trails for me!!!
  23. I have never taken my tank off to do jetting. Even with the TORS still on the bike. I don't know what the deal is with thinking the needle will fall out when you turn the carb upside down. I have never heard of such things.... And the little white plastic "splash shield" isn't held in by the main jet on any carb I have seen. It simply slides over the main once it is installed. But, you are correct that the plastic must be removed to gain accesss to the pilot jet. And if you just take the carb top off, you can just spin the carb on it's side to change the jets. And if you don't have TORS, you can change jets with the tops still on!!!!! Another thought, if you had to take your air box lid off to make it run clean, than you were jetted too rich. I run 300 mains with the lid on. No problem.... in the winter I was running 320's or 330's depending on temp..... All with the lid on....
