wheel spacers and flipping your wheels is a bad idea the further you move your wheel away from the ball joints the greater the load will be on them. think of it as a pry bar the longer it is the more torque you can apply to something. I had a friend do it to his banshee a couple of years ago after i told him not to and hit a small jump maybe got 2ft off the ground and ripped a ball joint out of the lower a arm
I finally got around to splitting the cases and was wanting to know what type if override is this, I really don't know what I'm looking for so let me know if I need to post more photos
Are we talking about the same pic up top? That shock is upside down with the adjuster on the bottom?that's what I thought, I've always ran adjusters on bottom, the only one I've seen that was like that was my dumbass friend's
it would be hard on the bottom end just like running a different head on one side of a v8 with more compression, it would be as if the crank was out of balance. I don't even know why I wasted my time telling you that...
check and make sure the slides are in correct again! make sure you see the dot through the peep hole when you open the throttle, same exact thing happened to friends when we did tors delete
I liked my yfz but got tired of having to change the oil damn near every ride and had to adjust the valves once "fuck that" if I get another 4 stroke it would probably be a raptor 700. I will always own a banshee or as long as the aftermarket is making parts for them...
this will also fuck your caster up and put your ball joints in a bind, did it on a friends and he thinks it's the greatest thing ever he keeps telling me to do it to mine but I want to live...
