    it's not uncommon for a 2 stroke to foul plugs if you let it idle, the cylinders can load up that's why you see people blipping the throttle on them at idle.

    when you start to run out of gas you start to lean out and you also lean out on oil, unless your car is a 2 stroke you shouldn't have to worry
