  1. Man Id love to do some more business with you, you've been good to me with the purchases Ive made, but those have just a lil more light color to them than im looking for. My bike is basically everything black, blue plastics, and a little polished metal. I do kinda like the blue/black sublime graphics.. gives me something to think about.
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-BANSHEE-GRAPHICS-BLUE-WHITE/370827928513?_trksid=p2045573.m2102&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D298%26meid%3D1042687398817934012%26pid%3D100034%26prg%3D1079%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D231045069495%26 Ive been searching for these graphics in black/blue instead of white/blue.. anybody know if they exist?
  3. I was told to let it warm up, then ride it around about 15 minutes, making sure to vary the throttle position alot..making sure u got into all the rpm ranges at least a little.. Let it cool, check torque on engine bolts, then do that procedure again minus retorqing bolts.. Run an easy about 1/2 tank of gas through it, then ride it like you stole it.. Also, use whatever ratio you plan to always use in it.
  4. Ive got my frame, pipes, swingarm etc powder coated, but now its all covered in finger prints and grease from assembly. What the best thing to use to spray it off and get all the grease and junk to disappear? Is there anything thats NOT powder coat safe?
  5. Everything has been tight for sure man! Only stuff that was real tough was the swing arm/rear shock and linkage. It looks great tho.

  7. Now that I have the swing arm, shock, and linkage on the frame I realize it's pretty intuitive.. Just a noob trying not to fuck up my investment.

  16. I was trying to combine a list of really good informative posts that are commonly used/needed on the site so I could reference them for myself and others when needed. For example: Plug chops, leakdown tester making, compression test, front wheel bearing replacement, and bottom end walkthrough.. Those are just a few that I marked. Any body else have any good ones that I should add to the list???
  17. Yea I did mention that to him. You made me nervous so I called back and added some 350main and 30 pilots, just in case.
  18. oooo lmao.. well then i was totally wrong with saying 10mm or whatever.. my bad guys.. now that I think of it.. having 10mm of powdercoat sounds stupid anyway
  19. Aight just got off the phone with Jeff. He is sending me some 320, and 330 jets. He said start at 340, 27.5, and needle clip in the middle and go from there.. he said I wouldnt need any higher than 340 and no higher than 27.5.. So looks like I have what I need to get started with the 340 and 27.5.
  20. Great idea.. why didnt i think of that...
  21. Changes were........ Bored .1mm Timing Advance Port Job Head Shave avg riding temps around here are 80-100 (mfn hot!) right now.. its pretty humid down here in the south. Jeff is awesome and Im going to call him today. Ill report back afterwards.
  22. Ill get a BFH and see what I can do lol.. I gotta get the broken one out and then install the new one.
  23. Yea everything was sandblasted to bare metal. The A-arms were factory silver hammertone, the swinger was just a normal swinger, the pipes were chrome, and the bumper was like billet or something. He did a great job and was a really nice dude. He sent me pics and kept me updated. I guess he might have over done it some but thats my fault cause I asked him the make it thick. Im in the process of putting the bike together coming off of a complete tear down and restore. New ss bolts, new bearings, new lines etc.. Ill let yall know if i run into problems.
  24. I ride between 150 and 300 feet above sea level
  25. Ok I know there are a ton of help me jet threads, but I need the help too so here it is. Im gonna keep this thread alive through the whole process so I can ask my questions and post plug chop pics and that sort of thing. So, question 1. I need a baseline to start. Ill be breaking in the new motor and all that at this time too so I really need a good base to start on just to get the motor broken in. Here are my mods: Shaved head Stock Carbs bored to 27.5, tors deleted Pod Filters F.A.S.T play port +4 timing T5 Pipes VF2 reeds Its bored .40 Premium gas Also, what range of jets do I need to have on hand. I have 280, 300, 310 (currently in carbs), 340 mains.. and 27.5 pilots and whatever is in the carbs right now (I couldnt find a screw driver small enough to get it out today) Heeeeeeeeeeelp
